Yes, but the people who don't get jedi skills will whine because (if you ever decide to pvp) you can heal your ship's damage, while they can't, and you can put an extra shield around your ship... etc.
So it would hurt more than it would help, as far as whining goes, IMHO.
See here's the real truth.
Your "jedi skills" are just numbers in a computer file, used in a skill vs skill RPG system on the ground.
Your pilot skills are how good you are at observation and reaction.
In case you missed the memo, Space is a twitch game.
2) It'd be TOTALLY unbalanced in Space PvP. It'd wreck it even more than the 2-3 shot kills hav done already.
OK, if you're REALLY set on it, say, and it ACTUALLY makes it into the game, I say every time you do that, you get Space Vis, so long as there's another ship of ANY kind, NPC, unattackable, enemy, space station, friendly, overt, covert, and BH's could pursue you through space AND on the ground. So doing that in space would downright foolish ATM, considering how fast you'd be killed. It would also raise MANY imbalance problems, which we ALL know SWG doesn't need right now.
Also/alternatively, you'd aggro any enemy NPC's and you'd get a target recticle (of a different color) for enemy Overts (if you ARE overt, that is). If you ain't overt, then any pirates/enemy faction ships would attack you.

Not trolling, I have never posted on this forum and if a Dev/CSR wants to look at my pilot skills they will see that I am very low.
I was interested in this because I am genuinely interested so please don't flame.
90% of my posted are in the Ahazi galaxy, Ahazi Galaxy Trade and Jedi forums.
Oh and you can't tell me that Luke didn't use his force powers while in flight so stop hating cause you aint Jedi.
