Thread: Tomo I need your help

I masterd rebel pilot as a femalt zab and I was not issued my medal though the dude says he is giving me one. I sent in a ticket to the CSR's and got the response that I'm sorry but we can't give you one we are sorry for the inconvienence. I have seen other posts on this board where females have not been given the medal either which leads me to believe that this is a bug that NEEDS to be fixed.


A couple of things to note before asking


I have no final respec

I did receive the badge 2 weeks after mastering out of nowhere

I did check again after receiving the badge and he spams the same here's your medal response


I know most correspondants don't like direct messages to them but I think you're my only help

Wow, that's selfish.


Seriously, take 5 minutes to scroll the forums and see how many people are having similar problems. Its been sent up in general. I don't think asking for a personal message on YOUR problem is anywhere remotely in the realm of reason.

Those guys are serious jerks. I should be going for my third ace tonight (I'm having a bit of trouble with this gunboat, but I'll beat it sooner or later), and I'm not expecting much. I haven't been given a medal yet, I don't see why they'd start today.

I'm sure this is a bug, but probably a fairly low priority one. This makes me sad, as I'd really like my medals.

To be honest, I'm not sure what's up with this bug yet. If it were linked to being a female character, that'd be pretty weird, but if you've noticed a pattern with it, it's worth investigating. Anyone with female characters been able to get their medals after mastering a squad recently? And any male characters not been able to?

One of many, just like you. Now if you had evidence this was female based only, it would be worth bringing up. But that's not what you came here with. You came here with "please help ME directly," as if no one else mattered or had already had this issue.

That would be a very wierd bug...but...my toon is female, and I have NOT recieved a single medal, dispite mastering I think five squadrons post RotW. Maybe worth tracking down?


I did a few CSR tickets before I got tired of it. They all said politely said they couldn't reimburse me since they couldn't prove I didn't recieve the medal. It's just a medal, not like I was trying to scam a free starship or something.


I also had some jerk try to sell me one for 3 million. I offered to duel him in space, he /ignore'd me.

I'll agree, there may be something to look into in this. Last time I made ace, there was one other person there with me. He got the medal, I didn't. So the gender bias may be true.

On my first AceI got the medal but the male character who went to the Admiral a few minutes after I did from the same group did not. There it didn't happen, but if there is a pattern of problems specifically towards females, then maybe that's the start of a trend.


To test it, someone would have to agree to repeat their grind though, as a male/female team and let the female go to the admiral first. Unless someone else can confirm recent similarities.

Actually yeah, my alt is female and didn't get a medal when she mastered Corsec. I think we're on to something.



I was solo on that kill so there was no group.
