Thread: No info. No Communication. JTL has become Ground game! EDIT We have gotten a responce.

Many Issues no Info on when they will be fixed is not coming to us. Heck we dont even know if the Dev team even knows theres a Plasma bug on the NP ships. Our Cor has been AWOL for 12 days. last post was 13. What the hell is being done? What are the Plans to make them Rite? Whos running this ship anyway????

Ugggh and I have such Hopes for this expansion.


After this Post our COR came back to us and the issues we answerd. TY Smoke.

JTL's probably reached a saturation point - everyone who WAS going to buy it pretty much has already.

It would be in SOE's best financial interests to string along the combat balance development as long as possible and keep people paying.

We have gotten a ton of fixes and enhancements for JTL already. I'd say they are doing a good job with this expansion so far.

Yea real f**kin good when the "fixes" break more than one pilot profession preventing any advancement in JTL. Real good when the team supposedly so open with the community is silent about there game crippling bugs they implemented with 11.5

The fact that it was patched so much in the beginning is really not an indicationof SOE doing a good job. If SOE had done a good job they would not have needed to patch JTL every other day.


Lets face it, SOE is throwing one thing after the other at us in an effort to keep some people interested in this game. The trouble is they are in such a rush to get new things out they dont take time to make them work properly! Battlefields, Smuggler, Jedi crystal tuning, and now you can no longer progress as a pilot because of their latest patch! The next thing will be the combat upgrade and that will be borked but instead of being fixed they will work on the GCW and that will be borked but instead of fixing it we will get something else.

I second that. The best example in my oppinion is the release of the krayt in it's current condition.


But i also have to say that patching is "better" (more concerning quantity) than when they were working on pre-release JTL. I'm not quite sure why all that crap is happening every patch (mostly breaking things again to a former state that were already working before). If i could take a guess then i'd say they don't even use a proper CVS system (or don't use it properly).


I also have to add though, that this game is very complex and if the system has really got so many x-cutting issues to address then it's almost impossible to test all the involved components again for every patch. Still, breaking things again that already worked is work of an a......

Have you ever played a MMORPG before? Release and Patch is SOP. You might as well get used to it.

maybe so..... but since day 1 this game has issues. And i dont even play WoW but my friends say there is hardly any bugs. Sorry to burst ur bubble but this game has issues the coding ismessed up and they are constantly trying to fix it with patches makeing new problems..... and im not a swg hater either im just stating the facts

Yes, WoW is the perfect game, if only people who bought it were able to, you know, log in without quing up for hours

Seriously, WoW will have just as many bugs and frustrations as SWG, and, in fact, every MMO out there. If you can name one MMO that never had any problems, you get a cookie, but seeing as nobody can do that, I think Ill just eat it now. Mmmm, cookie.

Keep in mind with Xmas and New Years coming up, the DEVs, et. al. have sugar plumes dancing in their heads. I know if I were them I would be thinking about having some liquer to spike my egg nog and not worring about some dang plasma bug lol

maybe so but i been playing since launch and this game has had more problems than WoW. remember when they told us to launch all those fire works in the star ports and it crashed the servers???? well it did on corb and thats just sad
