Thread: YAWN!!! So i soloed my first Corvette last night
Soloing that vette is no big feat.
Get back to me when you can solo the vette's in Kessel.

Some people still don't think the vette is soloable. I've run into people in Kessel who sware I'm lieing when I tell them I don't need any help when finishing off my many Aces. I've solo'ed 13 ACEs from start to finish, after awile it just became routine.
I agree. My first run at the Kessel vette had me all worked up, the group took it down... so a few days later, I figured "what the hell", and started messing around with it, now that I know how, I've soloed it 3 times. It's all just a matter of flying smart.
also agree. I often describe the corvette to those who're intimidated by it as a big puzzle... just have to take it apart piece by piece.

I soloed the Kashyyyk 'vette in a JSF, all crafted components, and without missiles or countermeasures. Just lasers.
If you plan on soloing Kessel 'vette, bring some Ordnance, it'll help a ton, since they don't need LoS to hit subcomponents.
Not bad, not bad...now try it without taking out turrets first.
Last two vettes I've done were for friends who called me in to Kessel. Both times the vette was right by the jump out point, so we had to go to work on disabling it right away. Makes for a good workout dodging turret fire.
