i wasjust woundering what single pilot ship is best for pvp. any imput would be a great help thx.

Common belief around here is that the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor/JSF is the best. Good mass, tiny hit box, two weapon slots. A good combo on the overall.

Ya, make sure you run one of those crafted engines with the teh uber 119 top speed in it for "teh win"! . HAR HAR

the JSF and Belbullab-22 are the same thing numerically but the JSF is smaller and sexier.

Generally speaking you're going to want a small, agile ship for PVP. I suggest you find a friend and mock duel them - shoot at each other without actually doing any damage. Get a feel for how a ship turns and what you have to do to hit your friend. Unfortunately just telling you what ship to fly won't help much unless you understand why it is a good ship.
In general, the preferred ships are the A-Wing, Jedi Starfight, Belbullab, TIE Advanced and Interceptor, and the Dunelizard.

Probably the best way to mock duel would be to trade out those L8 RE Reward guns for some L1-2 ones...

eek no dont use the firespray in PvP =/
and as far as i know the red Tie just has one gun slot....not in game atm so can't check for sure....

Yeah, only one. Going back to my Red TIE is going to be so hard after playing with this nice, big, 3-gunned X-wing...

The advanced X-wing has a larger hit box, but with a decent engine, it is not so easy to ignore. It can pack on enough shields and armor to make it withstand a couple shots by a smaller ship and with 3 guns a clean hit on most of the smaller ship usually wipes them out. Its not a preferred ship, but well flown its firepower can make up for some of its weaknesses.
