I finished the Stolen Corvette mission tonight with a couple of Freelance friends and when I went back to the Rebel Outpost, I received my Advanced X-wing Deed and badge as expected. However, I can't generate the ship? Is this a new bug? Has anyone else had this problem? Anyone heard if there's going to be a fix?

I submitted a CSR ticket in game, but the CSR closed it and said the devs were hard at work on a fix. Sounded likea form reply to me so thought I better ask here.

Edit - Forgot to mention that I can't generate the ship because it says I don't have the required badge, but I do have a badge for completing that mission. Also, I'm rebel pilot 4 3 3 3.

i have the same problem and got the same CSR response, but i am not aware of anyone else with the bug.

Well it's nice to know I'm not the only one at least. Hopefully there will be a fix soon.

It's looking like some Rebels can generate the Heavy X-Wing deed while others can't. The certification is supposed to be at 4xxx pilot, so I'm wondering if maybe it's actually in the master box. This doesn't strike me as terribly likely, but if you're a Rebel and you have or haven't been able to deed this ship, let me know whether you were able to and what your pilot skills were at the time you tried to deed it.

my status: I'm 4333 atm..and have the quest badge too..but cant generate it..what a turn off..

I did that mission last night, 4444 rebel pilot and had no problem generating the ship.
Then I loaded it up with 3 level 8 guns and a markIII concussion launcher and went to Kessel and blew away the Imperial Corvette getting my Ace title.

my friend with whom i did the mission's some parts can use it...and he does NOT have the badge..but can use it..I HAVE the badge and I cant..wth?!

Here's an update:

If you are trying to generate this ship and get the message that you don't have the correct badge, try getting another badge and then try to generate the ship again. A friend took me to a few places I hadn't bothered to visit on Tatooine and I received another badge (giving me a total of 5 at which point I received the "has 5 badges" badge also). I then tried to generate the ship and it worked.

If you are having a different problem or if you don't actually have the heavy x-wing badge listed in your character screen, this probably won't work for you. Hopefully it will help some people.

As a side note, I did trade my deed to this friend and had him generate the ship and re-deed it then give it back to me. However, this did NOT seem to help and I still could NOT generate the ship. Then we did the badge thing and I was able to generate the ship.

I completed the quest, got the deed and generated it when I was master. Then I dropped pilot, grinded back to 4333, and generated the ship just fine again. The only thing goofy is the ship text that is messed up when you view your ships at the ship terminal (object_name=blahblah).

Same here. So I'm now tooling around in DS with my Advanced X-Wing that looks suspiciously like a Red TIE Interceptor.

Yep I had the same problem with one of my characters.

I only had 4 badges, when I went to a POI and got a 5th Badge and my badge for collecting 5 badges I was able to generate the ship.

Seems you must need to have at least 5 badges to generate the ship.
