Thread: Did I pick the wrong Faction?

So this means once I finish this mission/quest I will not be able to declare Imp at the space stations?
the SA master mission against the imp corvette will not be a problem, there your ground imp faction does not count in any form. the problemwill bemore like "freelancer can not enter deep space/kessel to get faction points there".
Imp pilots declare overt at a Imp space station, and after that they enter deep space from a station in Endor sector. this station will not let you enter deep space because you are no Imp pilot .. so you will fly to the freelancer station to enter deep space, but that station will not speak to Imp's and you are imp from that station point of view after you have gone overt in space. If you want to get faction points in space from killing ships in deep space you have to be a faction pilot. however after you are freelancer master, it will be easier to master a faction pilot profession because you will get space XP * 2, and with double XP's the pilot grind is done faster ![]()

Are you sure about the double XP after I master freelancer? I though I'd have to drop all my skills.
Because I can't gain FP in deep space does this mean PvP is also out?

I'm a Imperial citizen but I work for whom ever cuts the bigger paycheck, in this case the Rebels(although I hate them) their money is right(money is never bad

No, anyone entering DS is PVP enabled. Declaring means you get FP for the kills.
I fail to see how an Imperial would even consider destroying the Imperial Corvette though.

Smugglers is a bad mix with Imperial. While I was a Smugglers ACE I desided to grind some faction because I had just returned to being ground Imperial. I hit an Imperial Station, went overt, then headed to the Imperial DS station, nuet station won't talk to you while overt. I spawned in Kessel with a TIE Oppressor shooting at me, figured he was a nub and boosted out, then he smacked my rear shields and I took damage. I had to kill one of my own faction.
Smugglers Ace + Overt, no matter what = Overt Rebel in kessel My advice, drop Smugglers now and go RSF.
