Thread: Focus Thread: Missions running out of time
Some of you are experiencing missions that fail due to running out of time. For one type you must dock with a craft that is listless in space to repair, and then escort them out of the system. For the other suspected type you must chase down a ship in transit, disable to capture and then escort them out of the system.
- Is your pilot faction Rebel, Imperial or Neutral?
- Was your first trainer on Naboo, Tatooine or Corellia?
- What is the name of or Tier of the trainer that give you the impassable mission?
- Which mission in the series, or duty mission, was it that failed due to the time limit being exceeded?

My first trainer was on Tatooine
My current trainer is on Dathomir, named "Nirame"
This mission comes up after completing the third box on tier 4.
It starts out at Dantooine, with a frieghter disable & inspect. Then it moves to Tatooine to take on waves on Valarians, and then finally to Endor to capture & escort the Frieghter. Needless to say after wiping out that many ships, it really stinks to be robbed at the end.
First Trainer: Bestine on Tat
Mission: Tier4 second mission on Endor - Disable and capture Bothan transport and escort out of the system. I ran it two times and both times I failed the mission right after the 3rd awing spawn.
Reason for Failure: Failed due to the time limit being exceeded.
I also made sure to enlist help for the mission and we made sure we killed all of one spawn well before the next wave spawned. I don't think that should make a difference, but one of the storm squad missions had this requirement. The mission seems to fail as the transport hyperspaces out of the system.
This mission is a required mission and not a duty mission.
- Neutral Faction
- Tatooine
- Tier 1 trainer in the Mos Eisley cantina
- Tier 1 duty mission where you have to disable a Valerian freighter, then escort it out of the system. After fending off multiple waves of incoming enemies, I just get the "mission failed" dialogue, the freighter was barely damaged, maybe 97-99% sheilds. (Edit: I do get the out of time message, along with the mission failed message.)

Mission: Tier 4 2nd mission for a box 4343,
Description of mission: Dantooine - capture a Black Sun ship held by the Empire.
Original Trainer: Mos Eisely - Tatooine
Current Trainer: Nirame on Dathomir - Trade Outpost
I hyperspace to dantooine space. The journal entry indicates that I must disable the black sun ship. I receive the waypoint shortly after entering dantooine space. I destroy the imperial escorts and disable the black sun ship. At that point i get a message, which I don't recall at the moment, but that generally indicates that the ship has been captured. The journal updates to indicate that I must escort the captured ship. I've tried to dock with the disabled black sun ship but I was refused.
Continuous waves of Imperial ships attack. I defend the ship until it jumps to hyperspace. At that time i get a mission failed too slow message. I've done this mission twice once with assistance from a friend (the second time). Same exact result each time.

Current Trainer - Shamdon Kree, lower level of Lucky Despot
levels:1/1/1/1, have been stuck here since a couple of weeks after JtL came out
Problems: All missions, any attempt to engage an enemy in space anywhere
More detail: Enemies will warp around in what has been dubbed, "drunken bee" fashion, and are all but impoosible to hit. Bug can be bypassed, but only after multiple logouts an full scans. Bug has been present since JtL Beta, and has affected numerous people, please see JtL Disscussion thread "Enemies Warping Still in From Beta!" for more detailed reports. Here's hoping for a response this time..
