I can't figure out this freelance mission.
It's the first mission that I recieved from Talon Karrde in the M. Eisley cantina. I'm supposed to fly to the Lok system and rendevous with the nym contact.
I have no clue who this contact is, where he is, in space, on the ground...
If anyone remembers can you let me know?
Thanks

When in doubt or you need a reminder open up your data pad and examine your mission.
You can get a better description that way too and it tells you what system your mission is in.

Once you jump to that system you will get a waypoint to your destination.

Actually in one of the corsec missions you have to meet an imp officer on the ground. So its possible.

And there is a series of missions in Moenia that ends in a space mission, not a part of a pilot profession missions but I was really happy when I was doing it to see them mix the mission types like that.

Well I tried getting more info about the quest, but all it says is lok system, rendevouz with the nym contact. I tried cancelling the mission and redoing it to see if I've missed any info, but no good. It just jumps right to "Why aren't you in the Lok system?!"
The aggravating part is that I can't continue on with my space missions until I finish this one. At least not from Mos Eisley which is where all respectable freelancers travel from anyway
I guess I'll give it a shot later on when I get home tonight.

Ok, I just helped a guildie with this mission. It's not too hard. You hyperspace into the Lok system and wait until a quest message comes up saying its giving you the location of the contact. When it does a new waypoint should appear in your datapad, and in your onscreen waypoint monitor. Just follow it. If the waypoint doesn't appear you may need to /bug it.

There are a few where you have to find a "fuel tech" at Nyms strong hold then he gives you a mission in space.

And there's a part of Arkon's Havoc, Tier 2, involving meeting a slicer several times in the Tyrena cantina.

Thanks Arsani,
Maybe I'll just chalk it up to a bug. I've flown around the system, and got nothing. I've talked to the fuel tech, nothing as well. I'll just try to figure out another way to skip past this one.

My mistake. I been on plenty of missions but I've never seen anyone actually have to land mid-way to finish one.

There's several Fuel Techs, you want to go talk to the guy in the right hand room in Nym's Palace building, then talk to the Fuel Tech at the top of the stairs as you leave the sunken area right in front of his palace building. I hope this is right, it's been a looooong time since I did that mission.

Fuel tech is part of an Imperial squadron, has nothing to do with your mission. You should launch, hyper to Lok space and receive a waypoint. When you get to the waypoint you'll be informed that the smuggler's ship has been blown up and that you need to clean up the guys that did it.
