Interesting...
I'm attempting this in my sorosuub yacht which thas the offensive capabilities of a greek galleon. A nice hard nose & no blasters.
Possibly the mission is not activating because I'm not using a combat ship?
I'm not sure if my current Dunelizard has a hyperdrive, I'm only certed to lvl 3 ship parts. Maybe I can try visiting the lok system in my snub fighter instead & see if that has any effect on things.

Even the noobie shipis now equiped with a Hyperdrive and the Yacht can't be used for missions either since you have no way of fighting in it or taking damage.

Perhaps you have maxed out your waypoints in your datapad. You might want to double check that.

come on people. It says its in the LOK SYSTEM not on the lok planet on in a city on the ground. You have to be in space in the lok system. I had to bonk myself in the head on this one myself. i went to lok but i read it compeletly it says lok system but i assume it ment the ground, but guess what this is JTL everything is in space except a few imp and rebel missions.

You can't use the yacht for missions. 
That explains why it's not working right there. Even if it did work, you still woildn't be able to complete the mission because it required you top blow some folk up. Use the dunelizard.
