Thread: Will there be a rebel jedi starfighter?
Either give the rebels their jsf so something else can be posted instead, or just give them an advanced A-wing with the same stats and mass end of discussion.
note to all the itchy rebels and freelancers maby arround Im not saying anything about the quality of the ship just I want to see some other topics than whine jsf overpowered. or shut up rebel scum get some skills regarding the jsf.

I think if you look closely, a lot of the people calling for ship balance are singling out the JSF not because they are Rebel whiners, but because it is in fact so easy for EITHER side to get. In fact, several of the most ardent JSF balance advocates are bigtime Imperial pilots on their primary characters.
Yes, the twitterpated all caps nerf it now posters are somewhat in the whiny category, but the reasonable people who want to see a well balanced JtL that's fair for all and not plagued by "Buff+Comp in space" aren't doing it because they are faction partisans.
The heart of the balance issue doesnt lay with who gets the best toys, and those of you thinking that's the root of it are mistaken.
To the Original Poster: you're a victim of the classic reverse logic that most people have been prey to when the cross faction certs for the new ships became known. Youassumed that because its certed cross faction, every faction deserves a way to get it. In fact the reason it was certed cross faction is so that someone who worked to get it wouldn't need to fear losing it if they desired to change later. So many people have the cart in front of the horse on this.

I think it's pretty ridiculous that the jedi starfighter is exclusive to imperials, especially considering that they're the ones hunting them. Have they announced any plans to make a rebel version?
I use to agree with you until I droped my rebel status and did the quest then worked my tail off to regain all my lost rebel polit skills after doing all that I think all rebel polits who want the Jedi SF should have to do the same.... or give me something and others like me something for all our effots...

I wasn't whining. I think it looks cool and I want one. I thought I should ask if they'll be giving us one before I grinded imp pilot to get it. Didn't mean to send you into a tantrum.

not unless obiwan left his lying around someware.
Oh yeah he died lol
maybe you will get a fisit from his glowie tellin you were to find it
you want the imperial rewards TURN IMPERIAL
or pump reactor (the engin overload droid command with out the droid)
hows about emergency weapons (yep weapon overload without the droid)
ok your own droid commands suck but tbh anyone can buy droid chips loaded with the commands you actualy could use.

you rebels get far to many perks in space.
What is completely ludicrous is that with the introduction of the Grievous, the jsf (renamed), and the ARC is that we're moving away from the galactic civil war and moving back into the clone war era.
The X-wing, A-wing, Tie Interceptor, Advanced, etc should all be faster, have more mass, and be able to shoot those 20+ year old fighters down in a heartbeat ... or else, why did the Empire get rid of them in the first place? Oh right, they're 'Jedi Starfighters'. In that case, they should be rare, perhaps even a vet reward item. Instead, the 'new' ships are faster, more agile, have more mass, and more hardpoints than the current 'elite' ships of the Rebellion/Empire era.
I've been a space PvPer since JTL came out and we had our first organized PvP event tonight since RotW came out . While there was the occasional X-wing, A-wing and even a few TIE/lns out there, most of the surviving ships were the new Imperial Interceptor, the Grievous and the renamed jsf. It went from the Galactic Civil war to reliving the Clone Wars. And afterward, most people were swearing about how they were going to get one of the new faster fighters and give up their X-wings. How themely is that?
Introducing these fighters wasn't about fair to one side or the other. It was just plain stupid. Next thing ya know, they'll make faster vehicles based on pods. Oh wait, they did that too.
Yes, this sounds like whining, and I apologize if it does. I just think the only good thing about RotW is the ground based stuff on Kashyyyk. Everything they've done with space, shipwright, and ships has really been a total mess-up. If the devs hadn't been hiding their namebadges at E3, I would've smacked em upside the head.
