Is ther anyway to change squadrons? I am in Storm Squadron, and enjoy that action and difficulty, but I don't have the time to continuously dedicate over 1.5 hours per mission on tier 3.
I talked to a Black Epsilon trainer and he said that I needed to leave my existing squadron and transfer. Does this mean dump piot and start over again? or is there some way to get a transfer?
Would Appreciate some advice.

I'm not sure why you want to change to Black Epsilon, I'm an Ace on BE and have helped many many pilots in both squadrons.
My experience is that Black Epsilon is much harder in mission difficulty, and the missions are of equal length for both, just in different places. The BE mission 3.3 for example is shorter, but all the rest of the 3.x and all the 4.x are 1-1.5 hours. The short 3.3 though is a VERY tough mission, at lvl 3 I could not solo it (the only one) and now at Ace with 2433 shields, 1400 armor f/r, and droid commands out the yin-yan in my TIE Oppressor I am in danger everytime I go for that darn Cruiser and her escort. Whereas the SS equivalent mission it takes me 3 strafing runs with my TIE Advanced with no need to touch shield adjustments or weapon settings.

My advice: Stick with SS.
Despite what a lot of others on the boards say.

I was also thinkingI might want to change squads. I went privateer and joined the Smuggler's Alliance, but I think I read somewhere that it's Reb-aligined. I have alot of Imp friends and I want to help them with their master missions, but I also heard somewhere that someone was having a problem attacking targets in a similar situation. So is there a neutral-neutral or do I have to lean one way or the other? Of course, I'm not sure if any of this is true so if someone could confirm or deny this that would be cool.

The Imperial missions take that long?
Was I just not paying attention to time with Rebel missions? It did not seem like we had that much of a time requirement for our missions ... but I could be wrong.
As for changing squadrons, the only way is to start over.

My understanding is Smuggler is the Neutral Neutral ... I think it is RSF that is Neutral/IMP (but maybe it is CorSec that is Neutral/IMP)...I don't pay that much attention since I have gone Rebel all the way.

black epsilon has the best name so i understand wanting the change. however they do give you ridiculous missions. my first tier 3 mission i was sent up against a fleet of xwings that were alltier 3 along with a tier 4 awing. after that fight, they sent more tier 3 xwings my way and some ywings. needless to say, meand my lil tie/in fighter died many times.

Incorrect
- Corsec is the true neutral (they attack both Rebel and Imperial) - you can do either Imperial or Rebel mission to master pilot
- Smugglers Alliance (Talon Karde of Eu fame) is Rebel aligned - you must do the Rebel mission to master pilot
- Royal Security Forces are Imperially Aligned - you have to do the Imperial mission
as for changing squadrons
- you must drop all pilot skills
- if you master before changing you get an exp bonus the next squadron you master

I was under the impression that Smuggler was neutral neutral and Corsec was Rebel aligned. I finished RSF and couldn't target any imp ships. I dumped and am now tier 3 Smuggler and can target both rebel NPC's and IMP npc's. I can definately attest to the fact that RSF is imperial. The missions I have been doing for smuggler alliance so far have either been Valarian, Jabba, or Imperial... Nothing rebel yet. Can anyone confirm?

That's news to me... you SURE they were rebel NPCs and not a neutral NPC flying a historically Rebel ship like an Xwing or a Ywing?
In the smuggler missions i get the rebel theme music for mission status... for RSF i had imperial theme.... not that is proof of anything.. but its a good indication.

I have a friend who is a Smuggler's Alliance pilot, he can attack both rebel and imp ships.

SA is basically neutral you can target both Rebel and Imp ships. The only exception is that you have to do the Rebel Master Missions
