When I started I took Storm Squadron (didnt know any better). Know I want to switch over the Inquisition Squadron. How would I go about doing that. When I go to see my recruiter he doesnt give me any options or do I need to go see the last person who gave me a mission

Check the FAQ.

You have to drop all pilot skills at the original pilot faction recruiter and then start from the beginning.

Sorry the search isnt working and the faq3.0 isnt clear (to me anyway). In the faq the only info involving squadrons is under the title "Changing Factions" and factions and squadrons are two separate deals.

I just installed JTL. I wanted to go freelance and ended up alliance smuggler however I wanted RSF. Can someone tell me how I can change to a different squadron(smuggler torsf)within the same faction (freelance pilot)??

You'll have to go back to your intital trainer in Mos Eisley, Dravis and quit the SA through him. You'll lose any boxes you've accumulated so far as well as all your Starship Combat xps. This will free you up to change squadrons.

I think you'll have to go back to the hotel in Bestine and speak with the Freelance coordinator there before you pick up RSF, but I'm not 100% sure. I did the opposite of you the first time (started RSF and switched to SA) but that was a while back. You might just be able to go to the Royal Palace in Theed after dropping SA and start with the trainer there, skipping the Bestine hotel step.

Hello, I must be going. I cannot stay, I came to say I must be going. I'm glad I came but just the same I must be going.

Thanks for the quick reply. Stinks that I have to drop my skills even though its the same Faction. But I will do that when I get home. Thanks again.

I think its done that way because you end up working for a faction, even if you're supposed to be neutral.

Im a 4333 Neutral pilot, and until i read pilots forum & FAQnever knew about what squadrons were all about, in fact i never knew that I was in one (smuggler alliance, pre Kashyk/CU I only used space game for travel). To change to the RSF squadron (Im a imp player) do I just go get missions from the guy in theed? Iv got enough xp to level, but both the smuggler alliance npc and the RSF keep giving me "duty missions".

Thanks for any help on this.
