To all the Freelance Master Pilots out there we need to push for a fix to thePirate Trap 2 Ability, we are supposed to equal a decent bomber strike, but we hvae been overlooked for how many months now?
When is there going to be some form of resolution on pirate trap 2 for all of us

No one ever said it was supposed to equal a decent bomber strike, and as long as we have epulse, we don't need it "fixed" more than anything else.
All Specials for allPilot Professionsneed to be looked at, I don't disagree, but there's no reason one deserves more attention than any other.

I'd say that the Rebels deserve quite a bit more attention than the other two. They're kind of getting screwed on two of their four trees.

i say make it spawn 5 of those manuvering "mercenary gunboat"ye-4s like in the cyssc mission and have it aggro the dude who called it first.

You know I meant one particual special deserving more attention than the others...

Two, how so? For Specials they have IFF Scramble and their repairs, both nice utilities. Droid programs won't really come in handy until upper Tiers, but they have a spot in my droid.

i have to agree here. with the exception of the freealancer iwin button, rebs get the most useful special. bstrike is neat and all, but its really not all that useful. as an imperial id rather have iff and repairs.

I've found myself pounding the desk in frustration when flying my freelance, helping someone on a mission, and not having access to jstart to keep them in the game.

Maybe I'm just nuts, but the Rebels could really use a "Shield Overload" program series. Even if they doubled the power drain modifers from the norm, they'd be a ton more useful that what we're stuck with now.
And it would be nice if Pilot specials didn't reset the droid commands.

You're nuts.
PvE is easy enough as it is shield overload would just throw things further out of whack.

LOL, and PvE isn't trivialized by Weapon Overloads increasing our damage output to insane levels or our speeds so fast no NPC could conceivably destroy anyone smart enough to disengage?
Come on, PvE in space is so trivial already that using the "trivialization of the endgame" as a defenseis really grasping for straws.

I'm just saying why add another crutch when it's all going to have to be looked at and rebalanced eventually anyway? There's no point in yet another overload where the only downside is increased reactor drain. When Weapon Overloads are coded properly they have 2 downsides. It's not any more ludicrous for me to shoot it down for my reasons than for you to try and shoot me down based on a known bug.
