I am able to run EO 4, WO3, Cap overload 3, and not have to run RO at all.


Before anyone tells me, yes, I know my engine has bad PYR (because it is crafted), but this ship is mostly for pve (I just loaded up the image recs for defense in DS hehe). Besides, with 3 image recs, I won't get into very many turning fights with players. And also, the weapons on this ship have DPS very close to REed level 8 rewards, but with a lot less mass.

I also know my level 8 shield has a lot of mass, but that is because I REed it a long time ago when I didn't know as much about space. Just waiting to unlock my second slot so I can do another pilot prof (really don't want to drop SS ace/ only a week or 2 from unlocking).


Any comments on how it could be better? Feel free to post your ship's stats to compare.

With all due respect sir, i dislike that setup. I imagine its great for PvE though.

Key notes:

1. No armor

2. no chaff

3. Id go with an RE'd L8 engine at around 23-25K mass

4. L8 RE'd reward shield is 2555 F/B at about 25K mass (give or take 1K)

5. Having done 3 and 4, youd get an L8 gun over that L7

6. Most importantly, youd have more room for missles. Either MK III concussion/proton or MK II IR's. (may have to pump reactor up from a MK II to a MK III 14K output or so.)

Thanks for the advice Ducimus, I'll go see what I can do and edit my post with new stats. And about the level 8 reward gun... I never seemed to have ever recieved one for a reward (I aced a LONG time ago so I may have deleted it or something way back then, not knowing how good it was). And yes, this ship is mostly for PVE since I never see any pvp in space on Lowca (except for2 privateers who were rebel aligned that I got the dropon in DS yesterday, took both of em out before they saw me).

Why not switch out that level 2 booster for a RE level 4 reward booster? It'll only add another 1.6k mass, which you have room for.

[Edit: Oh, and as an Imperial, you never received a level 8 gun.. we get a level 7. I see lvl 8 borstel disruptors (freelancer reward) on the bazaar pretty frequently though]

You can squeeze a little bit more out of her but it's nice for PvP. I have an Oppressor similar to yours and think you maybe be able to get some more out of her, but I wouldn't sweat it or spend too much on it.

I'd only make a backup of your bird (not sure how bad decay is now), which is what I plan to do when I find a new shipwright.

Nice loadout, the main thing that stood out to me was your Capacitor and Booster.

You might look around for some lvl1-3 caps, most of mine that I've settled on have been around 1k mass and 1100 energy. They're out there and not that uncommon it seems.

I said booster only because if you ditched some of the mass from your cap I'd drop it there for a little more 'getaway' speed.


Other than that looks pretty nice, PvE I'm assuming?



If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

I would try to find a prenerf droid interface with like 500 mass and use the extra mass for better weapons if you are into PVE. And you could probably find a lighter reactor with comparable powerl

I'm a little confused as to why you guys use these uber generation reactors with high mass 30k+? I use a 19k mass, 16.8 k gen reactor and RO3 and never have issues in my Krayt. You do know you can overload your energy capacity when loading components don't you?

Oops. Read it too quickly. I haven't seen anything looted over 18k generation at all.
