For an imperial what is the best ship to solo the vette?
I got all the tier 4 ships including the JSF but using the bomber means i will have trouble with the fighters and using the JSF I dont have enough ordinance.
so, Advance Bomber, interceptor even?

Plan for 2 missiles per sub-component that survives your Bomber Strike. That's 2 for each shield (4), two for the engines (6), two for the reactor (8), and two for the bridge (10). Now, given that you can destroy the engines without missiles, that leaves you needing 8. A Mark III Proton Launcher holds 9 or 10, so you should be set with anything that can hold one missile launcher. Which is pretty much everything. Fly what you like, and you should have no problems.

I use Jedistar fighter. Fine it has only 90k mass, but god its fast! I can doge anything with that baby
. Ofc you will need to ration on equipment, putting only good sheilds, capacitor, engine, weapons, and go on lower quality armour, booster and droid interface.

You better run for the hills before some other JTL vets see this.

Missiles help the most for gun 5 and the shields. That will take 3-6 missiles, depending on what you use. I use concussion IIIs myself. Everything can be easily taken out with blasters. Just approach from the bottom (after taking out gun 5) and take out guns, always sure to break away and boost towards the bottom. Bomber strike should make it easier still.
Be sure to clean up the two gunboats when you are through.

I learned how to solo corvettes in a Duneliz, so Higginsis is right, quit complaining that a ship like that has *only* 90k mass
There are multiple ways to solo a corvette and the ship you use depends a lot on your tactics.
If you plan on using ordnance, you might consider the Oppressor. If you plan on using blasters to destroy everything, an JSF or Advanced would be good.

take the JSF, you don't need torps
I use my JSF and I am Rebel to solo the Vette without Missiles, you don't need em', at all. In the JSF, your hitbox is small enough, and you should be fast enough to outrun and outdodge most everything, in my JSF I have 89k/90k mass thats with a good 25k mass engine and then I have a Experimental Blaster(Red) and a Heavy Blaster(Red) Gun Setup which works nicely I use a 1k mass lvl 1 one cap with Capacitator Overload-3 you don't need to worry about running out of Energy a 1k mass Reactor 6.7k mass shields pretty I think the best setup for a low mass JSF Setup

Use A-Wing or X-Wing - don't need no missiles or cheesy stinking bomber strike

Remember that the Oppressor is a master level ship... the thread started probably doesn't have access to one yet
bomberstrike and blasters is all you need though, just need to know where to be to hit the various components.
When I kill the vette now (no bstrike...) I go in this order:
Draw off fighters (by getting within 5-600m of one and boosting out of the vette's gunnery range)
Kill fighters
Kill gun5 (steep dive straight at it, then an equally steep climb away from it)
kill the gunboats (or atleast their engines)
Kill vette shields (fly out infront of the vette, you can hit them while still being below it's
firing angle once g5 has gone - the shields are just behind the bridge, on either side, in slight indentations)
Fly back behind it, kill engines.
fly below it, kill the side guns (6 & 7)
fly up it's side, kill guns 0 & 2, and then 1 & 3 (the ones on either side) - can stay out of it's firing lines if you're carfeull
fly further up it's side and kill gun4.
kill reactor (shoot from above - it's sat between the two halves of the engine block, a little square shape)
kil the bridge.
you really *don't* need anything other than blasters...

Well, I don't think he is a master, so the oppressor is not an option. Although, I wouldn't use it for the vette any way, unless you had another pilot to help with the escort. I have solo'd the rebel vette, I used a JSF loaded with mark 3 torps. The only time I got hit was when it descided to go a direction that I was not going
Just go in low, take out gun 5, then take out all the other componets with torps, by then you will probably be out of torps, you might have to shot the reactor and bridge with guns, no big deal.

I usually solo it for other people, all they have to do is shoot the bridge and there ace
