Must've been a true SOE fanboy that gave this guy less than 5 stars.
5 stars for you!
5 stars for you!

if you want content in SWG, organise space battles, other events, or roleplaying events, or hook up with people who do those things. If you prefer all content handed to you on a platter, buy KOTR2.
I certainly don't lack content myself.

True, if we wouldn't pay for all this. Cause if we create all the content ourselves then SOE can get rid of about 30 people who are supposed to add content.

We pay for the game engine, and for what "content" there is. But if you want anything more than "kill, loot, click on some chat option" then you have to rely on players, not devs, and in every MMOG.

*sigh* some people really seem to know how things work? Paying 33% - 50% of a full normal game every month (incl. full price at start) and just expect devs not to shut down game? *deepbow* for you, you are a devs dream. And thx for the one star for not being that grateful for a bad deal. *salute*

Its not that we want things handed to us on a platter, its that we want what we paid for.
Lets say you go into a car dealership, look at a Mustang on display. Its got power windows, locks, AF/FM CD, five speed, and all the bells & whistles. You then pay what's listed on the window, and the dealer rolls out a Ford Escort and gives you the keys to it, then disappears, occasionally mentioning to put a radio in it for you, or some such. What would you do then?
And to whomever asked, "LTB" stands for "Looking to Buy".
