What type of content do you suggest? Or do you just want "content".

if you want content in SWG, organise space battles, other events, or roleplaying events, or hook up with people who do those things. If you prefer all content handed to you on a platter, buy KOTR2.
I certainly don't lack content myself.
Its not that we want things handed to us on a platter, its that we want what we paid for.
Lets say you go into a car dealership, look at a Mustang on display. Its got power windows, locks, AF/FM CD, five speed, and all the bells & whistles. You then pay what's listed on the window, and the dealer rolls out a Ford Escort and gives you the keys to it, then disappears, occasionally mentioning to put a radio in it for you, or some such. What would you do then?
And to whomever asked, "LTB" stands for "Looking to Buy".

Well, I see SWG as the the car... but I have to drive it. I see complaints about contents in the same league as people buying said car, and then complaining it does not drive itself, or that there is no nice jam-free scenic route that is built each day for you alone.
I am not saying the car has no bugs, but it works... and we have to drive it.
I see where you stand, and understand what you mean, but if I pay for a better car, I want a better car. Simply put, I want what I've been paying for, for over a year and a half.

You actually are getting a better (maybe not better in a sense that you personally will like it more, but it is still getting upgraded) car with each patch, publish or minipublish that fixes bugs, introduces new stuff etc. The car analogy is quite good - these kind of games were made with player content in mind. The fact that most players do not want to participate in or create such content is another matter. Static content is consumed very quickly, but what the Dev team should instead be focusing in terms of content are live events and introducing dynamic/interactive content with support of the Events team. This kind of interaction should be the main thing in SWG, not some theme park quests or missions you get bored of in less than a week. I'm a bit worried that most players would not be interested in such content, though, since it wouldn't give them uberJediXP or uberphatloot, but just a 'starwarsy' experience.

True, if we wouldn't pay for all this. Cause if we create all the content ourselves then SOE can get rid of about 30 people who are supposed to add content.
We pay for the game engine, and for what "content" there is. But if you want anything more than "kill, loot, click on some chat option" then you have to rely on players, not devs, and in every MMOG.
I felt the sameway once, but the problem is with the gamesdesign, the professions reallyhave no reason to interact with each other. Its much easier to RP with ppl when the game is set up forgood RP. When its just a chatroom with graphics theres no stage for RP.
And then theres space...
We got imperials and rebels now that co-op in space, and on the ground, while overt. (Thishas become the normal, carebears who play as overts)very rare PVP incidences in space, I canwatch on as a player blows up my "allies" (NPC's in space thesame faction as I) but Ican do nothing about it to defend those "allies'. I can be a covert reb but blow up rebels in space, without any sort of penalty. I'm a smuggler but really what do I do smuggling wise.
Yea I got my Trekky (or is it Yoda) ears on andI'm soready to go roleplay now...

RP wise I find alot more satisfaction being enemies in the skies but drinking at the cantina together on the off days. Nothing beats a pirate, a TIE vet, and an alliance ace talking about starship configurations if you ask me.

Except that its the TIE pilot's duty to either kill or incarcerate said Alliance pilot.

Maybe those fresh out of the academy. But when you've been around as long as I have and seen what I've seen...

Right, I'm not wanting uber stuff. I'm just wanting what I initially paid for, that's all. I'm not the type who wants to skip straight from Novice to Master without the intermediary steps.
