Thread: Can't find a flight computer anywhere!

Yea, I'm a newb to space. I just got Total Experience about a week ago.
Flight computers are extremely hard to find, for me.
I have a Scyk light fighter. I learned the hard way that these hunks of junk don't use astromechs. I want to find a flight computer. I've never seen one drop from an NPC. I've been unable to find one under Misc. or Starship Components on the bazaar (Entire Galaxy Vendor or Entire Galaxy Auction). Anyone know where I could find a flight computer?

On the Bazaar, you want the "Deeds" section. "Droid Deeds" is the sub-section.

What galaxy are you on? I am on Bria, and have two excellent shipwrights who keep me set up. Amun-ra or Bu'bba. Start asking your galaxies SW and see what they will charge to make you a flight comp

Well thanks. I just bought a v2 flight computer and programmed it. Now this doesn't make sense, I'm in Manage on a Starship Terminal, and I click Load for the Flight Computer, and nothing happens, it just doesn't load. Do I need a droid interface, or should I unload the droid interface I already have installed?

You do need an interface. This screen is a little buggy. Try backing out of the screen a couple times/

If I remember correctly, you need a droid interface AND the FC. Once in space, you can open your abilities and commands tab and utilize the programming you uploaded, moving them to your hotbar if you want

Yes, you need a droid interface. However, if you're still piloting the Scyk they gave you at the start, you won't be able to load it.

Pssst... Droid Engineers make flight computers and astromechs, not shipwrights. We only make the interface that lets them work.

I have the interface installed, but no matter how many times I back out of the Manage screen, I still can't get "v2 F.C. Memory Bank" to go from Selected to Installed when I hit Load.

1. Is the Scyk you are flying the one they gave you at the begining?

There's your problem. The starter Scyk will not accept flight computers. Upgrade to a Dunelizard, you'll be a LOT happier.

Yes, I stand corrected, I keep forgetting that one of my SW is also a Droid Engineer. And the Dunelizard is a fine craft to use
