Thread: The fastest ship in the fleet

I've spent quite a bit of time and money getting my YT to be as fast as possible. I've got the fastest engine I've seen on Naritus (102.7) and a 45.? booster. Tonight, I finally broke 1500 top speed and have a personal best of 1515. Great for putting some distance between me and anything else.


What's your best speed? Please list ship type, server, and engine/booster speeds

You've gotta be pretty damn fast for a YT, if not close to the fastest.

1509 with an REed pre-nerf L6 (95.9 speed) and REed 1980 power L4 booster with a sub-145.x consumption rate and around a ~26.4 speed increase.

I can keep the dash up for 15 1/2 seconds.

I hit over 1400 with my 115.5 speed looted engine (screenshot of the RE report is Here) in a Tie Opressor, just using Engine Overload 4. With a decent booster it could prob reach upwards of 1800+, cant say I've seen much need in using a booster with it though.

I crafted a 103 speed engine on tarq. If you wanna go really fast, get an engine overload chip from an imperial and use /emergeny thrust.

I'd love to see the speed of a 103 engine + level 10 RE booster + EO4 + emergeny thrust

1501 on a rhirkrrkian (or what ever its called) with the freelance speed pilot ability. (ship was tottaly striped of everyting but an engin and the lowest mass reactor i could find

Engine Overload and /ethrust cancel each other out unfortunately.


The /ethrust will do nothing with the Overload enabled.


Also, the RE level 10 boosters are never going to have the speed of a crafted 'overcharged' booster - they can be made as high as 50 or 60 speed I believe. RE'd usually top out at 45 or so speed....


I use my boosters mainly for acceleration nowadays, since a crafted 104 speed engine seems to handle speed issues just fine. My crafted cert 10 Boosters give me about 62 acceleration.

I am running an Interceptor:

full throttle: 862

full w/boost: 1295

full,boost,pump reactor: 1518


Nothing has been RE'd


and it still has a 1k max blaster, level 1 proton, chaff, and 1.4k shields. no armor though.


my pilot skills are currently 3-3-2-2

I have a 32-second burn at 1511 in my advanced using EO3 - 95.9 engine - 26.x boost.

If all I was after was speed.... well. You'd be toast lol...

top optimum manuvering speed 1077 *some would call this combat speed*
