Hello there, im a new pilot 1/1/0/0 and i have a normal standard tie fighter. But what i want to ask is, can i have missiles on it by now as i am certified for up to 3 level components, and if yes in which slot does it fit? do i need a missile firing component and seperate missiles too? My ite seems to have one weapon slot, if missiles fit in there, this means i have to scrap the blasters i have?
Thanks in advance

Not sure, but if your ship is fitted for missles, it will have an "ordinance" option. Once you open the ordinance tab, you can place thge launcher in the first spot and the missle pack in the ammo spot.

I'm not sure if a TIE Fighter can hold missiles.
Missile Launchers go into the Ordenance Slot, if your TIE has one of those you can have a launcher, they won't fit into the "Weapons"-Slots those are only for beam weapons.
And yes, you need a Launcher (which uses mass and reactor energy even if not loaded with missiles), and missile packs. Later come in different sized packs with different damage, depending on experimentation, but usually not more than around 10 shots.
You can't reload in space, so they are not suited as primary weapon.
Hope that answers your questions

missles work on a different certification system. If your 1/1/0/0 then you can only use lvl 1 missles at best. I'm 4/3/3/3 and I can only use lvl 2 missles till i gain one more tier 4 lvl. So dont waist a ton of money on cert 3 missles that you cant use yet. I made that mistake with cert 2 missles in the beginning.

Know what missles you want to use proton dam armor/shields 50/50 but concussion missles only dam shields.
proton is cert 1 and concussion is cert 3.
proton is cert 1 and concussion is cert 3.

Missiles have diff cert levels then other weapons.
They also have other cert. levels, than other missiles. Just because you're able to use Mark II Proton Missiles (which are level 3) does not mean you're also able to use Mark II Spacebombs (Level 10).
here a full list of missiles and their cert. level:
Proton:
Mark I: Level 1
Mark II: Level 3
Mark III: Level 6
Mark IV: Level 9
Concussion:
Mark I: Level 2
Mark II: Level 5
Mark III: level 8
Seismic:
Mark I: Level 3
Mark II: Level 6
Mark III: Level 9
Image-Rec:
Mark I: Level 4
Mark II: Level 8
Space Bomb:
Mark I: Level 5
Mark II: Level 10
Oh and also be careful: You can NOT load Mark I Missiles packs into a Mark II launcher. That launcher only takes Mark II missiles.
With 1100 you should be able to use Mark II Protons, i'd recoment those. Just be aware that they are not THAT useful, it takes quite long till a missile has locked onto the target.

ok here's the lodown
looking at your load out, you see weapon, and then below some on the list you will see orderance, well that's a missle launcher, now you will also see a countermesuer there, yes you need a launcher for that, now after the launchers add to the energy useage and mass, you get the ammo, missles and countermesures... and there we have a TIE firghter and her Loadout.... have fun and remember that when I'm blasting you out of the way, I'm only doing it to save you the horror of a reb doing it

Yes you can use Missles in a Tie fighter at 1100 but why. I wouldn't bother using missles till your at a much higher tier, they have a longer delay, do nearly as much damage as your blasters, and have limited firepower, and take up more mass which you simply don't have to spare on a low level Imperial ship.
