Help

After 1 year away from SWG thought I would give it another try

Atm I’m doing inquisition squadron 3322 trying to do 3rd mission fake orders/plans

After docking with 1st shuttle get delivery mission on the way you get jumped by reb fighters spent over an hour fighting killed 50+ rebs tier 3 & 4 and about 10 tier 4 other ships that popped into the fight and more rebs were spawning when I at last i got killed while trying to destroy tier 4 firespray that popped into fight

Don’t mind being killed its part of the game but this is just 2nd part of mission what is the rest like

How many rebs are there in this part of mission?

And how do you solo this seems impossible to me

Back when I was working on the Inquisition (which was one of my favorite storylines), That particular mission caught me off guard at first too. What my problem was: I hadn't put my lvl 4 F.C. with EO3 in it yet, and kinda dilly-dallied my way around, and I ran into the same problem you did. My solution was to pick up a crafted engine with the best speed I could find, sacrificed a bit of manueverability for this. Then I just high tailed it between the waypoints. Reason being, the waves of Rebels will stop coming when you get to the second Waypoint. I only had one wave spawn along the route the second time, so I only had to fight that wave and the wave that comes when you get to the second point. Worked very well.

A bit wordy, but I hope it helps.

  1. Use a droid/Flight computerloaded with reactor overload, engine overload, weapons capacitor overcharge, weapon overload and capacitor to shield shunt.

  2. Get the fastest possable engine

  3. on delivery missions do not fight , just goto the drop off point and make the delivery. Fight after you make the drop.

If the fighters that jump you are no where near the second waypoint you're headed to you can try hyperspacing to another location in that space zone. I did that once during a Freelance mission and it worked quite well.

If you do the delivery fast enough you won't get any spawn.

After fighting two waves I realized what was up and did an in system jump to an out of the way hyper point. Then I was able to get to my rendevous unhindered. Chrimson Pheonix has a similar mission I think though it's been a while.

I happen to need to do this quest so I took a stab at it last night. The hypering does work. After picking up the plans I started heading to the drop off point when the first wave of fighters spawned on me. As soon as the first wave blew past me I hit my booster and brought up the hyperspace window. I selected a jump back to the Empire Blockade and I hypered just as the second wave of fighters came upon me.

Once back at the Empire Blockade I was able to fly to the drop off location without any problems and watched as the two waves of rebel ships just sat there in space wondering what to do next.

The rest of the mission was fairly simple until the Nova. I had never fought one before so it was a learning experience. The next time I go after it I'll make sure I take it out from below and take out not only the reactor but the two guns as well.

Oh, and make sure you have cap to shield shunt ready to go.

Helped a friend with this one last night. What you say is correct.

Cool, I tried this mission last night and had to abort it. Now I know how to do it, I'll be able to get it done tomorrow night

About the Nova encounter:

1. There are quite a few tier 1 X-Wings flying around it that will aggro when you approach.

2. The X-Wings seem to respawn almost instantly after you kill them. They don't hit for much and seem to be there to cause confusion rather than any real damage.

3. The Nova does not aggro until you hit it. In my next attempt I plan on flying underneath it, go to third person mode and try to stay underneath it since it moves and rolls around alot.

4. The guns on the Nova seem to have quite a long range. I was getting shot at 650m out when I attempted to boost away so trying to fly out of range is a bit pointless.

5. Don't Panic!

Another thing you can do is disable the ships only and leave them. There are a couple of missions in Inquisition that are like this. When I was going through it I kept killing them all but another wave would come in so I tried the disable and run tactic and it worked fine.

As for droid commands I only used cap to shield shunt 2. There really wasn't a reason to use anything else up until the Nova where I should have used reactor and then weapon overload before engaging. I might need engine overload as well to keep the Nova from rolling it's guns on to me while I split open it's belly.

Ya. I used the disable the reb engines ideal. much easier. then run to the waypoint. you can not change your engine because you never know when you will get these swarm missions.
