Find a friend who is an ace and can take you up as a gunner, other then that there is no "gernade-like" method in space. Outfit your ship the best you can (Re'd, etc) and hit the toughest spawns you can handle....

Possibly one of the most telling commentaries on the state of the game I've ever read.

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

That's just sad.

sad but true.

when he grinded through tier4 and got pulled through the missions he will realize that the master box grants nothing.

you still suck at flying and you dont have decent equipment stockpiled for the heavy ships you get.

Which is the point he comes back here to complain that PvP is broken

I did it on duty missions, 1 hour destroy duty gave me roughly 300k xp, a pile of loot and a pile of cash. 12 hours, actually about 9 with the xp from the storyline missions isn't an endless grind. At least, not compared to Jedi or even most other professions.

Actually those derogatory remarks are a major assumption. I've been flying Since release casually and am a pretty damn good pilot. I have trouble finding tier 4 or 5 spawns regularly and hate duty missions. I grinded FS using normal methodsand am just waiting for last two unlocks, because...again I play for fun. I have nothing left to do right now but master pilot and would like to do so. I used the term grenade grind because everybody nows what that means. You don't know me and shouldn't make comments as though you do. We aren't all the same.

The only 'sad' 'telling' remarks are your own. You ought not make assumptions.

A tier 4 destroy duty consistenly spawns tier 4/5. What's to hate about that?

seriously:

only way is with help

get a couple of ace friends, go with them to kessel. kill stuff together - u will get same xp as if you killed fighters solo.

Also every so often you will come across a GB or two - a couple aces can easily disable them for ya, enabling you to get your shots in.. 30k xp right there.

have them disable craft for you - u right behind them killign them off - if you guys get it together - u can get a mil of xp in a couple of hours...

you are right - no need to prove yourself to anyone...

Destroy Duty Mission.

I did those. One Tier4 destroy duty racked me up 4/5 of a box, and a little free-flying afterwards cemented the box. There is no excuse to not get enough XP in the game.

If you're waiting to unlock, and it takes days or weeks for phases to change, why are you in such a darn hurry to master pilot, if that's the "only" thing you have to do? Hypocrisy abounds. Take time to smell the flowers. If you have trouble finding spawns maybe you could, I dunno, like explore? Kooky idea, dunno why I brought it up, you're obviously too cool for that.

I got a complete tier4 box last night. About half of it was earned in kessel. Went up there and joined in a swarm with an already existing pilot. Some of the mobs were 10k xp, and the rest were 6k xp a piece. Pretty easy to kill provided you have programmed chips programmed into your droid. weapon overcharge 3, capacitor overcharge 3, and engine overcharge 3. Got myself a really really nice RE'd reactor for 500k (ouch) and boosted my energy by 4k. The other half, if you're a rebel pilot, go to the trainer in Nym's stronghold and grab black sun missions. 3.5k xp each and they just keep coming. Once you get their pattern, you'll be fine. Plus, I last checked my credit chip was at 350k over the evening.
