If you wantto get faction and XP at the same time, you can fly overt and kill 2 birds with the same stone. I suggest the destroy the IMperial Patrols from the Rori Trainer for faction/xp or the Black Sun already mentioned from Lok for just XP. Some of those Kessel ships will give you about 60 fp to go with that big XP.

Just think, this guy's about to be a Jedi.
/sigh

If a poisonous snake is dropped on top of you from a gyrocopter, don’t freak out and shoot your own driver with your arrow gun, making the vehicle lose control and blow up. Its probably just as scared as you are.

Most of you were very helpfull. A couple were real superior jerks...trolls or whatever the current label is.

I scrapped my agressor and advanced and refitted my bomber with the best I can components I had or could find. I went to Kessel. I din't know I could go there before master. Got 500K xp in less than 2 hours.

Thanx for the help. [an to the cuople mentioned above...KMA]

If you can't handle a little sarcasm when someone points out the illogic of your statements, you really need to grow a skin, instead of calling names.

Well, just bear in mind, that most of us who are proud to be pilots, not just in it for the badge but really take pride in our accomplishments have little tolerance or sympathy for those who take the 'cheap' route.

There are two classes of players here, and to paraphrase an ancient proverb, one class is concerned simply with the destination, the other class takes pleasure in the journey as well.

To the original question....

Fastest way to get the Exp is one of two methods mattering on your personal taste.

For me, the fastest way was to go to Kessel, kill everything until I maxed out at 2 million exp, land, train 2 boxes rinse, repeat. For me this worked fine, available targets are determined by the spawn rates at the time. Kessel could be full of spawns, or mostly empty... seems to be luck of the draw sometimes.

The other option.

Tier 4 duty missions. Take a duty mission (I prefer the "Go Kill the Fighters" more than the repair this, save that, escort them type duties) and complete it. Yes, they do finally end! Not too mention in the process of completing that duty mission you should easily earn the 1 million neccesary but I suggest sticking it out and maxxing your exp at the 2 million mark.

There are no "grenades" in space.

I know the power of the Dark Side. I am the fire of hate.

Ahhh, I understand now. You actually could have stopped at this point.

You would probably have a little more fun on TC when they drop the blue frogs in, things are a little easier that way.
It's not a matter of having a life outside of the game or not, the point is, the game has certain 'hurdles' implemented in order to achieve a certain goal. One type of player is only concerned with how best to circumvent those hurdles. One type of player deserves no respect nor admiration for reaching those goals.

Snobbish? Yup, you're darned right, and proud of it.
Some of us take great pride in our accomplishments, as I've said before.

Steroids? Fixing sporting events? Insider trading?
How about some SWG examples?
Meditate exploits? Duel exploits? Slicing sabers, doubleslicing weapons, Godmode to pull weapons from NPC's?
All are easier and better ways to win, and I daresay the people using these methods to 'win' are definately 'less' than the ones who stick to the rules and play things properly.

I daresay we ALL have a good idea of what type of Jedi you'll turn out to be.
Enjoy.

actually everyone here has an outside life. i wonder why you assume something else. exspecially when you complain about assumptions a few post earlier.

and for the sarcasm - this question has been asked 100s of times before.

normally the next post is about impossible tier4 advancement missions, followed by rants about the vette being too hard.

after master normally there are complains about no post master content or even worse - ideas, what JTL needs.

i think thats one of the reasons, why some pilots here are a bit sarcastic.

a little off topic note:

when you thought this grind is hard - forget jedi at all. the FS grind is a cakewalk compared to Jedi.

Is this is a game? Oh, I thought it was a virtual world in which I was running a business and socialicing with other people, doing some space combat along the way. Guess I should have been trying to win somewhere along the way. Oh well, I'm having fun anyway.

We were just having a bit of fun mixed with some sarcasm about another one of these type of threads, your toes seem to be a bit longer thanmost peoples.

I thought space xp was actually kinda fast moving as it is. I'd say wait till your 4/4/4/3 and the xp will take care of itself while your trying to finish that last mission.

Ok, so personally (speaking as someone who has quite an abundant life outside this game) I too don't have "time" to go hunting for spawns etc... First off, you have been given your answer in abundance as well.

2 methods:

1. Duty Missions

2. Kessel

Period end of story.

Attacking people back and forth is just kinda ignorant. I'm pointing at both sides of the arguement even myself a bit. I will say this though, if it's so darn hard how is it that I hit 4,3,3,3 Smugglers Alliance in 10 hours of gameplay? I enjoy the journey, I read (thats right actually read) every single dialog from the NPC's took my time with the story that develops along the way (which is actually quite good for Smugglers Alliance, the Imperial storylines were pretty cool too)

Point is, there is no "grenade" method in space. You need to develop your flight skills so that you can wipe out numerous spawns as fast as possible. Remember your ship can roll as well. Upgrade your gear. Re-engineer all the "even" level cert'ed components you have.

To fully develop good tools for JTL you will have to have some patience and you will have to understand the RE'ing process. I completed the exp for 2 tier 4 boxes in about 2 hours (when I was on my first ace) and I easily completed 1 million exp in about 30 minutes last night (although I do get the x3 bonus for being a multiple ace now).

So.... instead of throwing poo at each other lets make this simple. You launch, you run your programs, then either go to Kessel and kill anything that con's red, or go grab a duty mission from your tier 4 trainer. Question answered.

No but I love watching people's reactions when I point out they are.

Except in a game where one of the biggest complaints people have is no post-master content. I consider it a win when I have fun too, and if Fun for me is going up in a Ywing and only getting half the xp I could get solo because I have a gunner with me and we have a damn good time, then I won. I was simply trying to point out the badge hound rushing for Ace just means you have an Ace badge and no clue what to do with it.

I found your complaints amusing when on the one hand, you're in such a hurry to get Ace, yet on the other, you're only doing it while you wait for something everyone knows takes days or weeks to progress (Village phases). It was a snarky way of pointing out to a hypocrite that the journey is teh win, not the badge, and I'm not particularly sorry.
