Thread: KSE Firespray: Why Bother?

Are there any other ships where the entire targetting reticle sinks towards the bottom of the screen, or moves at all? (Reticle, capacitor energy, speed, the whole shebang)
Or is this actually a bug?

The nova courier also does this, it slips to the right side of the screen when you target something. I always figured this was because the bridge is on the left side of the ship, and it was showing a more accurate center position.

can you leave pilot station and walk around?and how many items are you allowed to store in it if so?

Firespry is NO multiplayer ship, you can walk around in it as much as you can in an A-Wing (which is not at all).
There are 4 multiplayer ships so far ingame: Sorosuub 3000 Yacht (Veteran reward), Nova Cruiser (Rebel), YT-1300 (Neutrals, Millenium Falcon), Decimator (Imps)
All other ships are single player (or pilot+gunner [Ywing, Agressor]), in which you can't walk around

what a shame according to several books and magazines the ship has a galley and prison cells and even sleeping quarters i am surprised the developers put little effort in keeping it real and allowing this to be a multiplayer ship.why bother

I guess us privateers have to bother if we want to have a master fighter or a high-mass figther..

Why bother?!
How about because it is unfortunately the best ship Privateers ever get a shot at... that is if we can pony up the outrages amount of creds to buy one!

i dont get what your all whining about.. its about the looks and exclusivity, you standard have 5 fan ships flying behind you shooting screenshots!
we have the milenium falcon thing which we can upgrade most off all!

i agree with the other posters.. you have obviously not been in a privateer ship.. it's nice that your a-wing, smaller and more nimble than our kihranx, has 65K mass, comparable to our 70K mass MEDIUM fighters (ixiyen, dunelizard), and our LIGHT fighters, the scyk and kihranx have 16K and 30K mass respectively... that's why we want the firespray.. yeah, it's nice to have a ship that boba had as much of the privateers that i've talked to think boba is the best character in sw... also, why would they put in the slave cells, sleeping quarters and such on the firespray whenSOE sold out and allowed the firespray to be certified to EVERY master pilot, imperial, rebel and freelance???

Well, its still *MILES* above our (Freelance) heaviest ship. It has maneuverability that is equal to our heavy fighter, and more mass. I dont see a reason why us Freelancers wouldnt want it. I could care less if Boba Fett or Jar Jar Binks drove it.

That was just Slave-1, not a stock KSE Firespray. Slave-1 was gutted, mostly due to advanced technology (which happened to be smaller), which left room for a small cell. I think in only one book did it have sleeping quarters, and if you look at Slave-1 in ESB, there is no way there was room in there for sleeping quarters.

thats actually good news, since my 49k mass interceptor can't seem to keep on target with an A-wing half the time, and I understand the interceptor is supposed to be the closest 'match' for an a-wing. So, there IS light in the tunnel past tier 3!

that seems to be most of the appeal for those that have.. um.. "spoken" to me about it. I say "spoken" because in all three cases the communication was awkward at best. For a game with so much text, there sure isn't a lot of grammar.
They're welcome to it. It's a mediocre ship, all things considered. And a HUGE target. You'd have to be pretty blind to miss hitting the damn thing. As opposed to, say... and A-wing.
Gouge l33tdewds for millions on their Boba fett ship so i can enjoy an easier time blowing them out of space? Sure. Sounds good to me.
On a side note... the Opp has 150K mass? that's pretty cheese, considering the player I fought tonight was as nimble as my 65K A-Wing. I think I should be allowed to call foul.
