Thread: Reactor overload 4 prob
Oh, no, the change isnt permanent.
Its just a temporary thing (your droid/fc reroutescircuitry in space to increase performance, but once on the ground it takes that time to refuel
)
This results in damage, unless you hit deep space or do a 25/25/50/75/100 repair job (yes, 5 repairs of those percentages, dont ask me how, but it works)
That will prevent decay on the items in question.
I do believe the actaul change is NOT noted in the ship screen when you bring it up.
However, be assured, if you here that telltale sound once you initiate the command, it should be working fine. Mind you, make sure ya have the power required for the other overloads ![]()
One additional thing.
I did notice before that if I ran any overload commands and I didn't have the proper juice, the components STAYED underpowered until I pulled all the components out of the ship then deeded and generated the ship again and replaced the components.
And all you are using is RO3 and your ship is underpowered? Or are you using commands like
EO4?

It's temporary, until you land or travel from deep space to anywhere else. It also offers no direct method to determine if it's running other than it's initial feedback, it can only be indirectly observed as running.
