Thread: Reactor overload 4 prob
The inability for pilots to determine if these commands are functioning properly is a bug/issue pilots have had for a looooooong time.
Not saying you don't, but Devs often see fit to change things without notifying us....

This results in damage, unless you hit deep space or do a 25/25/50/75/100 repair job (yes, 5 repairs of those percentages, dont ask me how, but it works)
That will prevent decay on the items in question.
You only need 4 of those repairs to repair from overloads =) that 75% is not needed. 25 25 50 100 is fine for any overload program. when you hit that 50 the full repair afterwards is repairing the same as that 50 did so no loss =)

I did notice before that if I ran any overload commands and I didn't have the proper juice, the components STAYED underpowered until I pulled all the components out of the ship then deeded and generated the ship again and replaced the components.
Annoying and stupid bug. But I did notice that if you use a pilot special like Emergency Weapons or Pump Reactor, it will reset all of your commands, and save you from having to redeed the ship.

Have you tried running all your other overloads without running reactor overload first?
