Anyone else ever have spots where everything in space just disapears? I still have target boxes and can destroy stuff but blaster effects, ships, stations, asteroids... everything.. just vanishes.

Actaully, yea. Just started to happen to me in only the Kashyyyk system. Thought it might be my grphics drivers. I have an NVidia 6800 GT. You have nvidia?? I noticed a few graphics bugs in ToOW Beta that were exclusive to the Nvidia 6+ series cards.

Yup same thing was just about to post about it myself. Using a 6600gt here no problems till tonite. Started in Dath space, then moved with me everywhere. Went to deep space and it switched on and off like a light switch....no lag everything runs smooth the ships just disappear except for the engine lights....

Thought that might be it to (nebulas or planet effects) but it happened to me in DS as well with nothing around ( no one was attacking the ISD either).

I was regrinding (as usual) the night before Pub24 hit and when I got back in game I had to kill 30 imps and the vette that we're cloaked!!! Now that was fun!!!!!! Star Ravenger actually took out my rear armour, I felt like a noob pilot again ![]()
PS Afterwards some bright spark told me to disable post processing effects and I've not had any problems since. I'm just thankfull I didn't find out how to fix it before the vette kill. I wouldn't swap that kill for anything ![]()
