You must be overt to collect FP in space. The rewards are great but you must deal with possilbe PVP fights. Example. Bwing in Kessel overt 80 fp. But.. you must check your six quite a bit. Put that with in it self is fun.

Yep getting FP is great. I personally enjoy the prospect of PVP whilst farming. Infact I openly invite it If I see someone overt whailst I am, I attack them rather than then attack me But I reground Colonel in no time after getting my JSF and remastering pilot. I actually reground Pilot overt. May as well get fp whilst getting XP

Ahhaaa!! A Tie Adv pilot!!

I have yet to shoot down one of these, and I've PvP'd for quite some time What do you think to it? I've had people say that the Int is a better ship for some reason. I'd think that the ship Vader develpoed would be much better than the Int. Plus it looks so damn cool

The Interceptor has a slightly smaller profile and a wider blaster spread, so if you can work with 15K less mass, it can be a pretty nice ship. I flew one for the majority of my pre-RotW PVP and the only time it was outclassed was when I ran up against a talented A-Wing pilot.

Its nice just low on mass. But you can still put a nice L8 engine in it and 2 low mass L7 weapons. Im rebel pilot now and have been since getting the jsf. Before rotw i knew a couple imp pilots would could own in a TIE advanced and when i was imp i was never hit in one.

But many things have changed since rotw ...

Heh, that thing turns about like a tectonic plate.

Definite points for style, though.

All I fly these days is my TIE Heavy. Once the RGI is fixed I might consider that, and I'm looking into re-outfitting my Advanced (which is what I PvPed in pre-ROTW). Anyway, I only fly TIEs from here on out. The JSF makes baby Jesus cry.

Wait... you fly a Heavy starter ship but refuse to fly a JSF? the only real difference between the two is that the JSF has a smaller hit box and one more gunand the heavy TIEhas even more mass and better speed. I can sort of understand using an Imp only ship to avoid the "composite in space" theory, but don't be one of those people that cries about the JSF being unbalaced while you you fly something just as bad.

I think you're kinda missing the beef with the heavy starters Pace. It's not that they are inherently flawed, it's that they are certed at the bottom of the skill tree. There's also the mass bloat, but that's endemic to all RotW ships. An ace making use of a Heavy starter to do Ace level things, is the ideal for the intended use of the ship, and I don't really see a problem with it.

  1. I object to all RotW ships for blowing the free mass curve.

  2. I object to the starter heavies for being certed at the starter level (as well as #1)

  3. I object to the RGI for the bugged hitbox (as well as #1)

  4. I object to 2 of 3 movie ships for having unrealistic mass and loadout profiles.

  5. I object to the Adv Xwing for being butt ugly, and ruining one of the most elegant looks in Sci Fi film
