Am I the only one who wants a V-Wing(No, not the one from Rouge Squadron, the one from Episode III)? Have it be like the firespray, a Master Certified Ship. Except it be a quest that is different for each faction (Like the clone armor quest). Like make it a 90k mass ship with 2 weapons and a missile slot. Basically like the Jedi Starfighter, stats wise.

it should be exactly like the firespray but smaller, preferably great turnijng but crap for mass and weapons

I'm...pretty sure....that...nobody wants another FOTM Ub3r ROTW ship.

Ummmm, it should be closer to 15K mass. If it's that old, it should be obsolete. There's a reason the empire altered its fighters. I think 99% of the community agrees that it's time to move forward.

To say nothing of another way of making the factions generic in space. The JSF/Bel-22 Androgyny is really starting to piss me off.

Maybe its just me, maybe the pictures don't do it justice... but what the hay, it looks like a modified A-wing, not a 20 - 30 year old relic.

I'd rather have more factional ships, I'd rather not have more JSF stat clones.

Yeah, they made them cheaper with low cost components.
That made up statistic of 99% of the community is silly, BTW.
FYI, we are discussing a society that has existed for over 25,000 years with Intergalactic Commerce. In 25,000 years, just about any and every technology that can be developed, has been developed. All this means is that what is available in this imagined society "today" is available based solely upon the current needs and tastes of society.
In the last days of the Republic, performance and style were more important then any other factors, in developing products. In the time of the Empire, cheap but capable was the mantra. Hence the major design change philosophy.
If anything, the RotW ships, being built for far better performance and style, makes incredible sense that those starships are in fact "better" then the offerings available during the time of the Rebellion against the Galactic Empire.
The Star Wars Universe, having had a Galactic spanning society for as long as it has, is FAR less affected by linear technology development then we in our still extremely primitive are affected. If you toss out the primitive idea of linear technological development, when looking at the Star Wars Universe, everything that can happen there makes much more sense.

You wonder why I say no? Upgrade POB ships like mentioned in this thread . Give us something to do with our Prestige points like stuff mentioned over here . Add the YT-2400. YT-2400 picture (Outrider) . Then I might consider it.
