Your current faction on ground:
Rebel
Your current space Squadron (not just faction, where is your current trainer):
Master Pilot - Smuggler's Alliance
What mission you are on (if it applies):
All - more graphics intensive areas are worse.
Specific information regarding bug (I will try to reproduce so more is better):
I get lag related rubberbanding in space.
As I fly, I get further and further out of sync with the server (apparently). My shots stop hitting the target unless I cut my lead way down or even aim directly at it. Damage is iffy at best. Often I see shield hits, but the target doesn't take damage.
Target movement becomes erratic, changing direction by 30 degrees a second.
It all gets worse and worse until I get a lag spike and go from 30FPS to 1FPS freeze-frame for 2-3 seconds. This happens to me as often as every 10-15 seconds. After the lag spike, I warp backwards like 100m, my speed (but not throttle) drops to 0, and all is normal again for a bit. I have my graphics turned down extremely far. I don't have other programs running - I've tried disabling my virus scanners, firewall, messengers, and about anything else on Windows.
Results include destruction, loss of loot rights, and general frustration with play.
This looks just like rubberbanding on the ground to me with vehicles or moving quickly into water. It keeps coming up in the ground game and getting fixed. Why not in space?
Brief system and connection information:
WinXP Pro, Athlon 3200+, 1GB PC3200, ATI Radeon 9800Pro 128, SATA HD, 3MB Cable Connection.
I play as Gerrick on Bria and live in Minnesota, USA.
Your current space Squadron (not just faction, where is your current trainer):
Master Pilot: Smugglar Alliance
What mission you are on (if it applies):N/A
Specific information regarding bug (I will try to reproduce so more is better):
Okay sometimes in space i will use Iffs Scammble to get away from my enemies when i have like 12+ ties on me so i use the IFFS Scramble to get away. However i have been noticing that if i Die or Leave the area before my IFFS scramble recharges it Never will. I keep tring to use it over and over again and this is like not 10 minutes after i used it but Hours after i have used it last so it should have recharged. but it never does. I have died to this bug many a times when i shouldn't have.
Brief system and connection information:
1 gb DDR Ram, 3.6 pentium 4, 128 radeon 9700 pro, 60 gb of space, Win XP, and i have cable internet.

bug: may be working as intended but all gunboats/corvettes/novas/decimators in deep space do not chase after attackers, rather they simply fly oblivious in a straight line, only turning when engaged by multiple forces or when they encounterthe end of a route.

Space Squadron: Rebel, Corellian/Tyrena path
On no mission, I've made it to Ace...but *only* with the help of guildies over time even prior to Tier 4.
Bug: The same one that's plagued me (and continues to plague many others still)...the synchronization bug which causes the space-bound rubberbanding effects, the ship warping/so-called "drunken bees" effects when trying to fight ships, and the corresponding invulnerability problems which also result. I've detailed all this before but will do so again here. I was in the bulk of JTL beta (FF attendee) and never experienced any of these problems other than just the random rubberband snap-back effect sometimes there, but once live hit I've had the intermittent ship warping/invulnerability ever since. It's all tied back into some sort of synchronization problem/issue with certain people and the space-bound rubberbanding, because as soon as the 'rubberband snap-back' occurs, everything is suddenly fine/normal for a varying period of time, until the synchronization issues start again and the ship warping/invulnerability problems start all over again. I'll point out that I've even now gone to the point (although it was basically because another problem forced the issue) of completely wiping my hard drive, reinstalling WinXp fresh and only installing SWG at first to test and see if the problems could possibly have been cause by some strange/unknown virus or adware/spyware/malware....but unfortunately, there was no difference. Early on some claimed that uninstalling Service Pack 2 would resolve this...for me it hasn't either before or post-wipe/reinstall of my OS. At home I'm on DSL, 384/128 speed and my ping rate varies anywhere from 85-120ish, and well over 90% of the time stays in the 85-100ms range. I've also taken my machine to my brother's who has 1.5mbps cablemodem access, and there was no difference there either. I've run ping tests with my connection and suffer no packet losses or problems of that nature. I'm totally and completely at a loss from the user end to know where to turn at this point and I've pretty much given up doing what would otherwise be my favorite activity in the entire game...flying and fighting in space...because of frustration and apathy over these problems.
System/connection information:
DSL as stated above
Motherboard: Asus A7N8X-Deluxe (running 5.10 Nforce drivers)
Processor: Athlon XP 2500+
Video Card: ATI Radeon 9800 Pro 128 (running 5.1 Catalyst drivers)
Hard drive: 36.7 gig Western Digital "Raptor" 10k RPM SATA
1 gig Corsair TwinX PC3200 memory
Finally, I'll provide you with a couple of links to threads which detail this issue from many different perspectives. There are people with all different operating systems, processors, video cards, motherboards, joysticks, etc. experiencing these problems/issues. This is the single biggest problem/issue IMHO that needs to be looked at and researched, because for those of us suffering from this, it is totally and completely gamebreaking. There's literally no point for me to go into space at this point until someone can figure out what's going on to cause this and how to resolve it. One of the threads is in Tech Support and while one of the TSR's claimed to be looking into it, we haven't heard back from him...
