Thread: Your Awing set up

Engine - RE L6 Reward (~8500 mass)
Booster - Mk1 (~800 mass)
Shield - RE L8 Reward (~30k mass)
Armor - Mk2 Reinforced (~5k mass)
Droid I/F - Mk1 pre-nerf (~600 mass)
Capacitor - RE L2 (1500 mass)
Weapon - RE L6 (10k mass)
Ordinance - Image Rec II (~6k mass)
CM - chaff launcher (900 mass)
If I want more firepower for PvE, I change the shield to a 17k mass MkIV, remove the missile launcher or armor, and drop in a L8 blaster.
Cheers,
Alirc
Is it a loot drop or something else. I have been unable to find anything above the 70 in one or more stats. I understand that the REing makes a difference, but I am just not sure how to obtain these things.

By vintage he means pre-nerf. You can get the same PYR by REing a reward engine with some decent drops, but not the top-speed.
should i pick up A wing first or the higher equipment certification for tier 4?
thank you all for taking the time to post.

Have a frienldy (starsider) shipwright (*cough*me*cough*) make a lvl1 Reactor with a Limiter instead of an Overcharge (sub-component) - I've gotten about same gen rate (10800-ish) and I think even under 800 mass (I actually think it was 790ish). Might be able to do better than that too.
I made a few of these, but I'm suprised they don't sell often. I would think these reactors with an overload would work for near any ship that has one weapon. A-wings, many TIEs, etc. Of course, by the time people are loading out their ships for PvP, they do it in deep space anyway, so decay is none(/negligible) - so maybe I just answered my own question, heh.

As i said the ship i posted is a bit outdated. Basically you need to start from a point and then upgrade with what you go that is better/saves energy/saves mass, closing more and more on an "ideal" load-out. This depends on what you have available and not on what others have on their ships so updating is pretty irrelevant ![]()
Curently i use a crafted Mark I reactor with more than 11k generation and 1k mass for example but im too lazy to type out my up-to-date load-out ![]()
I personally think that energy will be more and more important due to new patches possibly fixing some overload programms so when you RE items, go for low energy too.
