Hi All
Just picked up my copy of JTL and i must admit that I love it! At first i just thought of it as a way to stop spending so much money on the normal means of travel, but after afew runs in space i haven't gone to any planet to go grind since i upgraded. Right now I am a freelance pilor and would like to know where i can locate Black Sun Aces, and Black Sun pilots in general. I heard they are around Yavin's system but when i go out there no thing is around. Any and all help would be much appreciated.

I'll assume you're looking for the Black Sun helmet as loot?
Check the faq for the skinny, but the only natural Black Sun Spawn in the game that you could get it from is in Endor, near Red Sin hyperpoint. The description of "Black Sun Aces" dropping the helm is misleading, really its any BS of Tier4+

I got it from there today.

Are you able to loot it from any tier 4+?
Currently, I've been doing Black Sun duty missions, but since they are synthetic spawns, I'm wondering if I need to stick to random ones.

How about that tier 5 spawn in Kessel? Not sure if they drop the helmet or not.

I got mine on the third wave of the Rebel Black Sun duty mission over Dantooine. It was actually a friend's duty mission, and he wanted me to fly as his wingman so he didn't get swamped later on.

I have never seen the spawn in kessel. whereas I have seen the endor one on every server I play *shrug*

The Kessel spawn isn't consistent...it varies. I've seen Black Sun and I've seen Corsair Raiders.

Ahh its like a ground spawn then, it will select randomly whenever the server resets. Kinda cool, wish more space spawns were like that.

They spawn in and around the large bluish-green nebula in Kessel. Corsairs used to spawn there but I haven't seen anything but Black Sun there for weeks. They spawn in 2 groups of 3 at a time. 2 tier 5 fighters and 1 tier 5 Ace per group. I'm not sure of the exact time between spawns but it isn't very long. I've gone through at least 100 of them with no luck getting the helmet.
