I am not certain, but I think my YT holds as much as my small house. What is the deal with that anyway? It is supposed to be a light 'frieghter' capable of carring several hundred tons of cargo. Yet a few chairs , and some junk, and it is full?
Say anyone in the know, list for everyone's benifit the different storages. I am guessing YT, Nova, Dec at 130 to 140 units, Yacht at 250 like a large house?

75 units for each of em... they each take 1 lot, like the small round naboo houses. The rest of the small houses take 2 lots, hold 150 items. pretty much you get 75 units of storage per lot for houses, ships, etc.
Edit: Oops... this formula doesn't quite work with large houses and guild halls... but I do know I capped out my Yacht with 75 items.

See .. that is even WORSE than I first thought. No wonder I filled the ship up so fast.
So basicly, to go out and fight, with all the fire suppression blankets, repair kits, containers, you are going to have a fairly empty ship. Nice.
Not.

Yeah, pretty much. I don't really fight much in mine. Too much hassel. But I would guess that keeping repair kits, etc in factory crates would help out a little.

seems to make sense to me. 1 lot = 75 items so it would be rather unballanced for ships to hold more than that.

Personally I think the Loot Box should be altered like so:
Acts like a BackPack (insofar as anything inside doesn't count to ship storage)
Items can be taken out (as per admin permissions) but not placed into (only loot drops).
The rest of the ship can use the 75 items... that's ~25 deco, ~25 fireblankets, ~25 repair kits.
And you can still collect 74 loot items and a credit chit.

Thats because the formula is 75 per lot with a 250 cap

The devs might increase the amount a ship can hold after they clean up the database (purge it of old characters) they mentioned something about database space when people 1st asked them about it.

i have heard that you can fully decorate your ship up to the 75 item total and still fill your loot box up to another 75. so the ship could hold 150 items, you just cant put stuff in loot box if ship is decorated.
