Wow. Whirlwind day for me... thanks again to everyone who made me feel so immediately at home!
While I'm putting together apersonalintroduction for you guys, I wanted to give you an opportunity to let me know what your top pet peeve in JTL is. It can be a "feature" or a bug, and you can write as much or as little as you want, but for this warmup mini-exercise I'd be much obliged if you'd limit yourself to your number one issue.
Over the next few days, I hope to use this thread and others like it to compile a list of the top five major player issues with JTL as it stands in its just barely post-release state. The manner in which these issues are addressed, or whether they are indeed considered issues or not will, as always, be at the discretion of the development team, but if you've got ideas for a solution to your issue, then by all means include them! Player feedback was an amazing source of constant game improvement during beta and it's my fervrent hope that the pilot community at large will continue to assist me with its amazing range of creativity and problem-solving skills.
Fire away!

Not enough time to play it as much as I want to
Ok, more seriously ... Beta helped me a lot, but I get a lot of questions from people on how to do some of the basic things or what certain components do. Things such as 'how to land' ... or 'why isn't weapon abc firing?'

First! I think it would be the targeting reticle. It's never off by the same amount. Kind of annoying

i dont like how the tab button doesnt work like it does on the ground. I want it to cycle like it does on the ground because when you are disabling ships it gets annoying you cant de select the one you disabled with it until you are far away.
Also when running escort missions for tier 3 imperial, it takes a bit of time to kill off all 5 tier three ships, or even disable them as i usually do, and by the time im done i can never find the transport right away and sometimes i end up failing becaues its so far off. The red box helps but can we just get a WP to where it is at or at least an arrow? Anything would be greatly appreciated by myself.

Same here, but would also would to add a feature to the TAB cycle of not targeting a disabled enemy. I know this might be pie-in-the-sky type feature.

I only have one real issue: TURRETS
NPC turrets are WAY too accurate. They pretty much never miss. Even flying my A-wing at full throttle and dancing around like a mad man, I still get hit about 95% of the time by NPC turrets. It's to the point where my only choice is to avoid ANYTHING with a turret like the plague, even tier 2-3 ships. I'm not saying I should be able to solo a gun boat with ease in an A-wing, but flying by one at full throttle while evading shouldn'tmean instant death.
There are other issues of course, but this is by far and away number 1.

First off, congrats. This is the first profession forum where I really pay attention, so good luck to you.
Second, my top issue is The space overt/ground covert issue
Other than that, I want to see Imperial pilots be able to land at the static Imperial bases that are on most planets, and Rebel pilots be able to land at static Rebel bases. After all, if the base has a few TIE Fighters or Bombers parked around it, it stands to reason that we should be able to land our birds there.

NPC accuracy
Max Mass of ship chassis / pilot line
mass adjusted on craftible items (compared to looted items, most all of the player made items i have seen are at least 1 1/2 more mass then the looted item) ...
a possibility to do some sort of repairs while in flight ...
tier 3 missions (Privateer, one issue is people have trouble getting to mission giver in jabba's palace, and would enjoy a closer launch terminal from that location if possible almost 5k ride to get there now... also the missions themselves ... they are in stages ... but if you fail or crash on any of the stages you have to start over again from 1st step tho the journal shows that part as completed already) ...

Yes because you can target diabled targets with x just fine because they cant move or anything anyways.

Congrats on the position. Now get to work.
I would like to see if you can get an official updated list of stats for the ships. Specifically the Roll/Pitch/Yaw and Acc/Dcc values.
Something similar to this list here. (second post)

1) When targetting nearest enemies, do not target enemies that you are unable to attack (other people's mission targets). In fact, make them appear white on radar.
2) Please add laser convergence (all laser beams focussed on a single point approximately 500m out from your ship). It is very annoying to bedead stopped inan X-Wing, fire straight at a disabled TIE fighter and watch as all 4 laser beams miss around the corners of your target since the laser boltsare firing straight ahead and the cannon emplacements are spaced further apart than a TIE fighter is in width and height. If lasers converged, the beams would all hit near the center of the TIE fighter(where you should be aiming if you're dead stopped).
