I mastered my first Squad, Vortex, and it took months on and off....

Then I mastered my 2nd Squad, Smuggler, and it took3 days from Novice to 4443 (Now I know how to take out Gunboats)...and a week total to get a group to kill the Corvette....so 1 week for squad #2

I imagine...if you have the deed, parts and droid programs ready to go....One could Ace a Squad in 2 days??? Maybe?

Is Pilot the only reason I keep playing SWG...as I'm bored w/ Jedi?

I've found salvation in flying too Z, and I think it would be possible to master in 2 days, with constant grinding. Having the components/ ships ready to go really helps. It would be possible, if you had people lined up too help w/ the vette, other hard missions.

Most squadrons can be done in one (albeit long) day by a determined pilot, especially with an XP bonus. The thing that always seemed to slow me down when I was doing all the squadrons was the XP for Tier 4.

after aceing one squadof eachfaction and getting the *4 master bonus, i went up Arkon's Havoc and aced it from start to finish in about one realllllly long 10-11 hour day. I was sick from school and had nothing better to do. It would go so much faster if it werent for those **edit** 1 hour long escort missions.....

QFE

When I did storm squadron I had an escort mission that was over an hour... 17 waves of enemies (actual count) and that was just one part of a tier 4 mission.

I just mastered Storm Squadron and now I just laugh to myself when I listen to other people complain about escort missions...

Smuggler's Alliance has a loooooong escort as well... Having not done Storm yet (it'll be the last of my 9) I can't compare, but damn it seemed long at the time... Wipe out wave of fighters, read a few pages of book, wipe out another wave, read some more... Rinse and repeat about 15 times

But to the OP, yeah, 2 days easy... When I've had that much play time available, I've been able to knock over a whole squad from start to finish...

I've neverreally had a problem with theXP for T4, except for my first squad (no master bonus ) I usually just hit up the merc cruisers in kash space

13 hours of playtime is my record for RSF, I am sure it can be done faster.

I dont remember any long Escorts from Smuggler...doesnt mean it didnt happen...but my only hickup was the Gunship mission...but once i got EO3 & WO3..it was np

The only pain I find is novice to 1111...that means alot of landing and taking off....but the Tier 4 Xp was really fast and easy with my Grind spot

At the mo it takes me the time of the missions to ace a squad. For any XP i just go to Kessel and get it in a min or 2!

Im taking a few days of then will finish all squads this week, plus im not using the "pre-equip" heavy starter crap, and only using the trained droid commands (no chips for me).

Why, cause if Sony wont give me content I will damn well make it myself!

Again LONG being the keyword of SS. I laugh to myself when I hear someone complaining about how LONG an escort mission is. Some of the missions can be rather difficult though if you are a 3222 pilot having to use a tie bomber with low grade weapons and parts moving at about 650-700 trying to catch A-wings shooting your target. This is where my progress really slowed down. It picked back up once I got 4333 and could use the Bell-22.
