In simple terms, what did you want for an endgame?

Tell ya what id like.

- I'd like assaults on really large capital capital ships. LIke.. something the size of the ISD. But really high on difficulty so youd have to work with a team. I shoudlnt be able to solo it in 8 mins or less.

- I like to PvP once in awhile, not all the damn time. I dont like it being the primary thing to do for an endgame. It recceives so much focus, because they're aint much else.

- Id like pilot to mean something in the CGW. I want to feel like im fighitng in a war for tangible meaningful objectives.

Ive quit the game once before, and im a hair away from quiting again. Only thing that keeps me around is its the only MMO i can fly in with a joystick. (Eve Online is just too boring). JTL needs more of an endgame. If i wasnt so bored, id never have made this post.

Some sort of worthwhile big time target. Sorta like the ISD and Freedom station, but more challenging. Repeatable challenges, like the Cyssk mission (part of me is afraid to do that...what goal is there when that's done?). Definately fights that affect the GCW somehow. Meaningful PvP (why don't I at least get faction?). Chances at actual rare loot drops, equipment with really rare stats (not just the usual random drops) or more items like the Black Sun helmet.

There's so many great things they could do with the "player flyable capital ships" thing. Might even make POBs used in PVP combat; those Jeedai have to make it onboard the ship somehow (although I have nightmares about a Yacht full of l33t PVP players). You'd have squadrons of fighters protecting the POB as it came in to dock... it could be amazing.

Yes, assaults on capital ships. Those were my favourite missions in X vs T. Waves of incoming enemy fighters, actual mission objectives. Just seeing some of these capital ships maneuvering for broadsides against each other...

Did those GCW suggestions get compiled and sent along, or did we get distracted by the cap ship thing?

I want an organized attack on a DEATH STAR.. Make it a new zone or whatever, load up capitol ships and that would be awesome.

For an endgame i freakin want something that none of us are going to expect. Not like crazy flying bunny, but unexpected to say the least.

Think of the biggest and most fun battles in all of the X-Wing and TIE Fighter series. That's what I wanted, in both PvE and PvP (obviously not the Death Star runs, but everything else.)

I remember one of my favorite moments in XWA was on the Azameen family mission where you're evacuating the Rebel platform (where the father gets killed in the escape).

You started off fighting some lighter stuff... then a powerful motiff of the Imperial March played as you saw (depending on whether or not you were facing its entrance vector when the event occured)a large dagger-shaped capital ship emerge from hyperspace and deploy wings of fighters. Truly awe inspiring; I really wish there'd be a way to carry that Star Wars feel over to SWG.

I hate the concept of "endgames". I just want more missions. Long strings of missions. Themeparks in space, maybe. I want space content to equal that of the ground.

I want things to feel "Star Wars." The only time I currently get that is when I am in Deep Space and come upon a group of NPCs attacking a Rebel Corvette. Somehow the view and feeling of diving in behind a TIE of some kind that is attacking a capital ship (with the capital ship as a reeling/rolling background to my view) looks and feels more like Star Wars should. I feel like I'm in space and fighting in an actual space battle, rather than just vaping NPCs in a roll tournament.

The X-Wing series games had this feeling, due to the large number of stations, capital ships, special transports, and other space obstacles.

We need some zones with persistent or at least frequent engagements between Mon Cal Cruisers, Neb-B Frigates, Star Destroyers, and Strike Cruisers so we could go out and take part in the battle.

i want a real galactic civil war. factional control of systems. smuggling granting the ability to move in/out of factional controlled systems. i want real danger zones in PVE becauses the 2 we have now (tier 5 droid "hive" and DS to an extent) are small and absurd. i don't care one iota if it's too difficult for 90% of players to go there. tough luck. stop catering to the bottom of the totem pole.

i want pilots flying ships without giggling because they suddenly can solo content that annihilated them pre ROTW. i want PVP leader boards and a ladder ranking system that is free of exploits. i want to be able to land on space stations and stare blankly for hours at an empty space cantina.

i want them to nuke half the nebulas and asteroids and put some damn ISD's in stationary orbit around some planets. will some rebel players get nuked? yeah. SO WHAT?

i want endor, dathomir and naboo to be imperial strongholds. it's absurd. why set the game in the star wars universe if you are only going to ahear to what makes it so cool loosely? where's the imperial fleet? where's the imperial might? rebels want to play a game where they are on equal footing at all times and space contains more pirates that empire?

if you look at the space zones they are freelancer zones with star wars themes. cut it out already devs! sit down, make up some real awesome star wars crap and if a bunch of whiney rebels (or imperials) complain it's too hard (read: awesome) then ignore them. don't you get that people want to play STAR WARS, not STAR CARE BEARS VS PIRATES IN NEBULAS AND ASTEROIDS?

I want to do Kessel Runs. When I first got into the JTL Beat and saw that the Kessel system was being added, my jaw hit the deck and punched through two floors below me. I was dying to get out there and see what they added.

What a complete letdown...

I had also hoped that Tier 5 content would be FAR more challenging. Let Tier 1-4 be the carebear content, but I wanted Tier 5 to be the lethal AI that you dreaded going up against, with Tier 5 TIE Aggressors being the enemy that would tie your stomach in a knot when you saw one coming.

I was hoping PvP would be more like the tactical PvE, but the reality is, it ended up being just like PvP on the ground before the CU. A buncha people with nothing better to do than farm the most uberloot items possible, who, after building their little ubardeath machines, spent the early days of JTL camping zone entry points wasting anyone that arrived. What really pissed me off about this was that the Devs seemed to have disregarded the lesson learned about starports and the load in timer there before becoming PvP enabled, and turned loose JTL with no safeguards against these pointless morons. This lead to the eventual removal of PvP from Kessel, rather than any kind of INTELLIGENT fix for the problem.

Other than that, there's no "elder game" in space. Its fun, but you eventually arrive at the conclusion that there's nothing really left to do up there after PvP annoys you to the point you don't miss Deep Space.

I'm still hoping a T6 shows up some day, mean and nasty.
