Alright, I'm stumped, and not having any luck searching (must not be using the right words).

Can anyone point me to a FAQ anywhere that tells me how to take and attach a pic to the forum?

You'd have to post it on another website and link it here to the forums. Most folks use Image Dump it seems. As for the jacket, well it's grey and...puffy.

And for some unexplainable reason, open. With little straps across the front. Maybe not so bad for guys, but looks absolutely stupid on girls.

No, pretty bad looking on the guys too. Regardless of what anyone's heard, puffy is not the new black. Helmet's not bad though, if you're into the Post-Apocalyptic Mortorcycle look...

The jacket is pretty bad looking. It might not be so bad if it didn't have the massive poofy shoulderpads though. The helmet looks pretty cool. I like wearing it while riding my BARC. I just need some Arai stickers for it

I think the helmet is actually modelled on the helmet the fire-ship crewmen are wearing in Ep III as Anakin and Obi-Wan are bringing in the burning half a ship fuselage. They show one of the pilots momentarily and the helmet looks remarkably similar to the Freelanceer Ace helmet.

IMO, the Rebels get the best looking jacket. I'm not about to give up my YT-1300 though.

Now if you're looking for 2 parts of a set that DON'T go together, you'll want the Imperial set. The helmet looks like someone grabbed a giant block of bone, carved it out to look "like" a TIE pilot's helmetand put some electronics units in it. It looks cool...if you've got a one armor suit lol. The jacket goes good with anything grey/black. I LOVE the jacket. It's got the little Imperial insignias on the collars. It's also got the nifty likkle clasps on it.

Oh no. The Imperials get a MUCH better jacket. I love the way that thing looks. Buckles are awesome!

I like the Rebel jacket better because it has that "hundred-mission-WW2 fighter pilot leather jacket" look... at least, that's what it looks like to me.

Both the Imperial and rebel jackets have a very WW2 feel to them, very authentic pilot-ish kinda stuff. The Privateer jacket is just big and bulky, kinda generic SWG clothing. And like I said, doesn't fit female forms very well at all (neither does the bandoleer).
