If you Ace one squadron, quit (start over) ... then you get 2x the xp per kill ... if you quit after you master the 2nd one then you get 3x the XP per kill .. still have to do it all again (from noob ships)

Many people also take a low cert ship, load it with good parts, and fly it once they are able, the game doesnt check part certs once they are onboard (as long as you dont remove them). The most glaring examples of this are Dune Lizards, where people are able to dump L6-8 parts in it and then start another Neutral branch and gain the ship almost instantly. Horrible horrible bug.

Nope. Ya have to go to the recruter and completely drop before you can take another.

It is per Ace. I was a Alliance Ace from the Crimson Phoenix squadron and recently dropped it to go the privateer Smuggler's Alliance track. I recieved the Master Bonus when doing an entirely seperate faction. I cannot confirm if it works for going from Alliance to Imperial, but I do know it works cross faction for Privateer/Alliance. It would make sense for it to work for the Alliance/Imperial crossover as well though and would bet my bottom dollar on it as I know someone who has mastered6 tracks (no imperial ones) on one toon, and they recieved a multiplier at each new track making it faster and faster. Hope this helps.

Yes, you guys keep saying per Ace, but you gotta keep in mind, the game calls Master Freelance, Rebel, and Imperials Aces, and gives an Ace badge for each of the nine Squadrons.

If I remember correctly, its per pilot profession.

To explain it fully, and still simply.

Master Rebel Pilot, quit. You will now have a 100% bonus added to all experience gain you make(space related only).
Master Rebel Pilot again in a new squadron, and quit. You will still have just a 100% bonus to all experience gains.
Master Freelance Pilot and then quit. You will now have a 200% bonus to all experience.
Master Imperial Pilot, and quit. You will now have a 300% bonus.

Each profession(not squadron) grants a 100% bonus for mastery.

So, you should only be able to get a total of four times what you'd get normally.

Little math for a moment, lets say you've mastered each of the three factions. You're now in space working up on which ever squadron you want to be your final one. You make a kill normally worth 1000 experience.
1000 + 300% of 1000 = 4000 or 400% of 1000

That's how it is. The bonuses stack, but only one for each profession, not each badge. Unless I'm mistaken, but I don't see why there would be one for each badge. That'd just get excessive(a 900% bonus means ten times the normal experience gain).

Is the exp bonus for each Ace badge a bug/exploit, or is it part of the design system to make changing profs easier?

I doubt bonus xp would be a bug, being it says in the log Master Pilot Bonus xp... pretty good bug to accdently write that...
