absolutely. I for one cant stand a big ship. I like a craft that is small, fast, and agile. The exception to that rule would be multiplayer vessels, which I still want to be fast, and agile, but I also want extreme firepower.

Well seeing as my great PvE love is the Heavy X-Wing at the moment, yes I am not very subtle when I fly...

Play the game or don't it is what it is and will never be what it was for better or worse. I intend to play the game as long as it is fun, that does not make me a fan boy of brown noser. I know the game has it's flaws, but it serves no purpose to dwell in the past.

But really, sure it does. How could it not?

if i could get a killer engine id dust off the Y-Wing and get good with it, atm though i love the heavy Xwing. its not slick and precise like an Awing but hey IRL i drive a beatup old Pickup Truck, anything i cant out handle i can surely run through or push out of my way. now to get devs to put ramming damage based on ship size into the game, cause then my Y-8 would just need windshield washers to get the JSFs off the glass(saw a JSF next to my Y8 one night thing looked like a bug compaired lol.)

Generally, I fly a standard X-Wing (put the sidestrakes on it for "bluffing") as my primary fighter. After that, it's a toss up between my freshly re-tooled Y-Wing LP and the B-Wing. While the A-Wing is a hoot to fly, it doesn't really float my boat. The Nova gets some flight time here and there (more than the A-Wing) and the ARC-170 is in my datapad collecting space dust.

I mothballed the Advanced X and Heavy Z95 (about 6 weeks ago or more) not because I don't like them but I feel they make space easier than it already is. I can pretty much put the best weapons, shields, engines, and capacitors into them and still leave room for good armor, missile launcher, and a low speed DI. I'd rather take the time to kit out a Y-Wing or X-Wing and enjoy that challenge.

My alt is an Imperial pilot and while I have the RGI, it has only been flown twice (1 test flight and 1 mission). The TIE Advanced is my ship of choice there, follwed by the Interceptor and then the TIE/Ln (the dark grey paint is awesome). Infact, I dusted off the A-Wing after I kitted out the T/A and had a chance to figure out good loadouts for a 65k mass ship.

To an extent. I wouldn't go around analyzing a persons entire personality based on what ship they fly, but there are some that like massive firepower, and can somehow do very well in a sitting duck like a B-wing or Kryat or other heavy figther, and there are others that excel in nimble dogfighting.

I would have to say that it does reflect to an extent. Since i did the quest to get it, my jsf has actually been getting a bit of grinding action while I've been collecting parts to rebuild my baby. My ship of choice would probably have to be my Rihk. It seems to fit me and let's face it, it's got to be one of the most blatant overkill ships out there. It looks mean in stlye 2 and 3 very large guns in a fairly tight forward pattern with a missile launcher added in gives it one of the best damage/blast area ratios available.

It's not subtle, it's not supposed to be. It's big, loud and blows stuff up. It's Rihkxyrk.

The ship I fly changes only slightly more often than the squadron I fly for, I can't stand being in the same place for very long, my choice of fighters is almost universally Light fighters, and although I am an imperial at heart that A-wing just keeps tempting me to the dark side...

should i give in???

JSF

Only cause my Royal interceptor quest is bugged and the stupid CSRs won't do anything about it and the DEVs don't seem to know about it cause supposesdly it's been fixed.

my rihkxyrk dubbed "EDGECRUSHER" may be slow and fly like a brick, but i can take out most tier5fighters in 3 shots or less. and yes it reflects me as a pilot and a person because i may move slowly but i pack a serious punch

Tomorrow morning, I will transplant your brain into one of the cadavers you saw in the other room. You will DIE, only to live again in a younger body. Then you can tell me if the operation was a success, what it's like to pass from life to death and death to life.
