Thread: No one expects this from The Imperial Inquisition
This isn't a Kashyyyk mission, just a standard "graduation" mission after getting training for the third Tier 4 box.
If I had been flying something slow, instead of the Advanced maybe I could understand. But I have the reward booster RE'd (2039 Energy) and the L6 engine RE'd (82.something top speed with EOL 3 loaded above that) and I flip around to see that big mother bearing down on me like a pi**ed-off rhino. 2500+ Shield energy? HA! Not with 6 or so L4 ships *and* the gunboat blasting away.
I guess what really bothers me the most are the AI ships never falling behind even when I'm on full boost away from them. The little surprise of having the ships hyper-jump with me was another shocker.
This is the same mission I'm on as well and I ran into a bug not the warping bug as you describe but the command ship and escort bugging out before I could reach them and getting a mission fail. This happened twice. I would complete the dock with the shuttle and get the mission update informing me of the command ship and I would head off to the location WP (about 8k away and beofre I could get there they would hyper out and I would get a mission fail. Any Ideas?
And if you know how many more missions before master missions?

Cool, thnx. I was going to ask you, what your weapon load out was, guns, missles, cm's? I've been using crafted Lvl 7 high speed green blasters X 2 dam 2500 spd .22 and proton III's with just regular chaff.
I'm using two RE'd Bolt Drivers from my previous squadrons, no missle launcher and microchaff countermeasures.
I kind of hosed myself in selecting my tier 4 boxes, I didn't select the Lvl 8 Equipment box so I'm stuck using lvl 7 stuff. I like the crafted guns they do tear through the smaller ships real fast and I've never had a problem taking the waves of fighters out but without the speed you have with your Tie/Ad I have problems doing the head-on turn-n-burns to wear down the gunships. I'm going to have to hunt around and find a better engine and boosters and maybe just drop the missles and chaff for the added mass. Does this sound viable?
Can the newROTW ships be used such as Jedi, crimson, or Grievous? I have the Jedi starfighter but havent used it much, I used my Tie Bomber for the mining quests and it worked okay until I got to Kessel and the Tier 5 Awings used it like a freshman on prom night.

Find a shipwright and get one of the new craftable ships. The mass is higher than the Advanced, so you can stuff in your L7 weapons, missles, countermeasures, and heavier armor and shields, *and* a better engine if you need it - so speed *and* power - might turn the trick for you.
The craftable heavy TIE has only one projectile slot, soyou're gonna have less firepower. Anyways, I did this mission back in Nov and it wasn't that bad. All I did was called /bstrike2 from a 1000m a way on the command ship, sit there and watched till the gunboat's shield and armor dropped below 50% before moving in for the kill. The gunboat and its escort will ignore you completelyeven if you move into their firing range, as long as you call bstrike first before they spot you. If you can find someone to help you, and both of you call bstrikes, the gunboat will die really quick.

Key part is that you did it back then. I solo'd Black Epsilon and Storm Squadron, from Novice through the Corvette.
That was then, this is now. Now a gunboat is doing over 1000kps? That's gotta be a bug.
Thank you for your advice. Who says there's no honor among thieves and scoundrels
