This is our reward? Looks like it was made out of duct tape and silly putty. Not exactly a stylish bit of garb compared to most of the other stuff out there. The actual cut is cool but...well. A reaction a friend had when I showed it to him was relief that that's how it really looked - he was worried his video card was messed up. Yeah, I know. Low on the priority list but it should still be on there somewhere. We privateers aren't into rank and lording it around - we're about style. Give us a hand!

Agreed, that is one horid looking jacket, your description is perfect. It would actually not be so bad if they just let the air out of it so it was more form fitting. The rebel jacket suffers from a little of this in the shoulders, but not nearly as bad as yours. The imp jacket is by far the best.

I'm an Imperial SS Ace and my alt is a RSF pilot. Yes, the Privateer jacket is horrid. However, IMHO the Imp Ace helmet is even more of an atrocity.
Each faction should have a cool outfit. Complete outfit. No just a beauty pageant sash and crappy jacket...

I thought I could pull it off as a woman without an undershirt...nope, still ugly as sin. 
Even tried making an outfit around it with a session with a tailor...nothing compliments it. 
She's still trying though. Tricia rocks!

The problem is not the cut really. It is the SUPER low texture levels on it. It looks like there are no lines to it and it was just painted on.

not at all. I wear mine with much pride. I just think it looks like there is no texture to it just a skin painted on with not much detail (esp. when compared to the Imp jacket with all the buckles and such).

Once again us privateers are worked over... 
PS: IMO i find it difficult to believe that a toon of the female persuasion wearing only it and some hawt pants can't make it look good...

When I saw it, my jaw hit the floor. Its got to be the ugliest piece of clothing in the game.
