Yeah, it is just about the ugliest thing I've ever seen.

A "quick fix" would be to give it the color option we find on composite still.

If i took the Freelancers Ace Jacket, and threw it in a pile of:

- Michaels Jacksons jacket from the "Thriller" video...

- a jacket from Andrew Dice Clays closet...

- a disco bellboys coat...

- a styrofoam and tin foil shirt...

- an electric matre' de...

...I don't think i could pick my ace jacket out of that without the sewn in nametag.

Jeez, that thing is ugly! I hide mine in tha bank...and thats just sad.

I can deal with the jacket (though the color choice was bad - my wife said it looked like a suade jacket worn by a lounge singer). My biggest gripe is that the jacket doesn't mesh well with the mercenary bandolier. This is ironic since both are rewards within the same profession. Isn't it logical that a player taking Privateer will end up wearing both these items? Then why don't they work well together? If I wear a "dress uniform jacket" with the bandolier, it adjusts to work well with the jacket. If I swap out the dress uniform jacket and wear the Ace jacket, it collides with the bandolier at the waist and shoulder and looks awful.

I still wear the bandolier, not the jacket.

Truisms are true, hold on to that! The solid world exists, its laws do not change. Stones are hard, water is wet, objects unsupported fall towards the earth's centre. If that is granted, all else follows.

I mastered both imp and freelance pilot profs, but you can only wear ace clothing of your current faction. You can't sell or trade the stuff at all, so my freelance stuff just hangs on a wall. This is total crap, if i have the ace badge i should be able to wear it. I'd like to wear the imp jacket and freelance helm at the same time or even the reb helm and imp jacket.

Retro? When was inflatible clothing popular? If I wanted a life vest I woulda joined the Naboo Coast Guard

Classic! LOL

Yeah, put the life jacket on, then the super oversized helmet for that "Jacket to Helmet No Neck Look".

Add the very cool 50 slot bandolier, and it will cut the life jacket in two right through the jacket shoulder. The bandolier on the otherhand looks real nice over Ubese!!!

I will never wear the Helmet and Jacket though, they are AWFUL!

You should see the helmet on a Mon Cal. Its about as wide as my shoulders and sticks approximately a foot past my back.

The jacket looks horrible but the helmet when worn with appropriately coloured composite looks insanely cool. I get so many tells asking 'WTH is the cool helmet?'

only downside to the imp jacket is that you look kind of like a nazi, but then again, we imps are technically the nazis of star wars.

The jacket isnt the best , but its ok , the helmet looks very cool , but it makes you look like you have no neck. Also we should get the option for colors as we are not really a military force, why should we all look the same

I think there's some scaling issue with the helmet. After looking at it next to a handfull of others, it appears to me that it is rendering much larger and lower than it should, wiping out the neck entirely. Take a good look at how far off the back it sticks! There's something off there. I also noticed the Rebel Ace helmet has some size issues as well. From a realistic perspective, it's far too small. Next time you see one, look closely at the wearer's neck for a giveaway at its peoblems. Last one I saw, the poor pilot's neck was about as thin as his wrist- talk about constrictive!

I don't think the helmet pushes the head down, I wear it with a grey doc dress all the time and it looks fine for me. I think it's just the ridiculously huge collars on the privateer jacket.

Jacket hangs on a wall....maybe someday I will try to create an outfit around it, but for now it hangs there.

The helmet looks cool, but yes on Mon Cals...LOL!!! My Mon Cal has a medium build for the race with the largest head possible. I now have the largest helm in the galaxy! One of my buddies said I look like a bobble-head!
