No idea what to tell you here...
Been running Duty Missions for 2 million Pilot XP and switched to camping the Endor spawn.
I've never seen any Black Sun over Tier4 and only ever seen Black Sun Fighters and Black Sun Marauders.
Looked at the Ace Helmet on Allakhazam and it says it's looted from a Black Sun Ace Pilot... never seen one and probably never will...
The only difference I can tell about the 2 places so far is... Duty mission is wave after wave of fighters, then a couple Marauders at the end, in Endor space it's a constant mix of Marauders and fighters.
Not sure which of the 2 people are actually getting the helmet from.
[Edit] I also have noticed that the Endor drop rate for ANY loot really sucks compared to the Duty missions. Not that it matters when you're trying to loot something with a .0000000001% chance of dropping anyway

The only reason I seriously want it is because it looks awesome.
Definately one of the best looking items in the game.
Not to mention, since you have to grind out 11.5 MILLION!? Pilot XP to Ace...
Might as well grind out on something that comes in waves, is easy to kill, and may drop that super cool loot you want.
