People have already weighed in on the staging thing, but just because a B-Wing and some Xs were out there doesn't mean anything; people do some crazy things on Starsider. Tactics are a lot different between group battles and 1v1 PVP, and when you get a core of vets on either side, they start innovating. In fact, the development of tactics and countertactics over a few weeks or months worth of battles is one of the most entertaining parts of an ongoing PVP scene.

Oy...we've had it too easy with you gone.

This next battle should involve the most overall strategy of any battle we've had in a couple months. Staging it across systems, not just between two POIs in the same system, will make this more difficult. I just hope we're all ready for this.

The Rebels indeed won last time's event.. so I had to bundle the whole thing in a movie that would depict them as rutheless pirates and the Empire being of course the peacekeepers and patrol crew that eventually drove them off and blew up their mining ship.. hehe.
