Whenever I leave DS my droid programs automatically reset. I have to re do everything from that point. Which is why I try to save DS as my last stop for my nightly patrol of overts. I know other people on Bloodfin that have this happen to them. So not sure what to make of your statements on that.

Are you turning them on prior to entering deep space? I have noticed that if I turn on droid programs prior to going into deep space they will be turned off when I exit. If I turn on my programs while in deep space (having no damage on entering) I will still have them running when I leave and have all damage repaired... Hope I didn't just give someone something to exploit...

I think most people turn them on prior to entering deep space for fear of not being prepared for pvp after declaring and otw to the deep space station or once inside. Since i can look around prior to declaring I don't see there being a lot of danger for that little trip between the declare overt station and the deep space/kessel station. I do think there is a huge risk when I leave deep space and am overt going to whatever station I am landing at. I've only run into 1 overt player that way, but that is the point where i feel the most vulnerable. (That one player got smoked btw)

Ok, that makes sense.

Yeah, I do set my programs before I go to DS. That is most likely why. I've never hit the programs while in DS so I couldn't say how that goes.

DOH!

Ive just realised what the deep space exit bug is!

Thanks for that.

Sometimes, if I have just been vaped and end up having to re-enter deep space, I only manage to run my reactor overload program first. If what you say is true, then my reactor will be reset on exiting, but my other programs will not.

No wonder all my components are offline...

Because all my comps are offline I hadnt realised they were still running overloads.
