#1- GUN CONVERGANCE on x-wing, b-wing, tie interceptor, firespray, and any other ships that I may have neglected to mention that do not have the "bonus feature" of aligned gun mounts. The fact that my x-wing "space superiority fighter" takes several seconds of shifting, juking, and rolling before i can line up just ONE of my 4 cannons to do a fraction of my potential damage against anything smaller then a Kimo is a huge detriment, especially in PVP where 1 shot kills are the norm. No need to get fancy, a simple fixed convergence point at the guns maximum range, or even better, a player controlled variable point should make a lot of players happy and make those fighters the butt-kickers they are supposed to be.

#2- PVP is about as much of a joke as the ground game. Oh wait... I forgot.. it's all about twitch skill here. Yeah, I twitch as my system lags all about when another player gets close (1 gig RAM so don't go there), then twitch some more when myx-wing with 2.5K shield and 1K armor goes boom with one shot from a pair of ALIGNED (see above) guns. I've been flying deep space for the last month or so looking for some pvp.. and always wondering why INEVER see any players taking advantage of the no penalty system. Well now that I finally found some I understand why... it's simply not fun. This needs a serious overhaul if space PVP is going to ever happen.

#3- LOOT- We all know the loot system is busted on ground AND space. Let's see... option one; chase tier 5 ties around kessel for an hour... MAYBE come up with a dozen or so parts... usually all crap... or... option two; camp a tier 3 spawn for an hour... filling up my inventory.. with the same quality as the kessel parts.. often better, for no risk. Have the devs forgotten the essential design device of risk vs. reward? (all signs point to yes). I soloed the Imperial Star Destroyer (suprisingly, considering the intense lag I experience when close to it--unbelievable I could hit the subcomponents)... It took me nearly two hours to do so... and I got anwhopping 10K credits for it!!!!! If I had spent those 2 hours mob-robbing tier 3's I would have walked away with at LEAST 80 loot parts and 100k creds. When taking down something tough it it understandable to expect something decent for your time and effort. Risk vs. Reward, Risk vs. Reward (say it with me devs) Risk vs. Reward...

#4- MULTIPLAYER SHIPS have such great potential yet also need considerable work. I learned very early on (to my great dismay) that my big, expensive, nifty Nova Courier is nothing more then a paper tiger useful for nothing more then showing off to the ladies.... its pretty useless in any kind of challenging combat. Those who have these ships know how hard it is to get a crew to operate.... because anyone thats been in one knows that there are no real advantages regarding performance. Four pilots in thier own respective ships are WAAAAY more effective then loading them all into one MP ship. Why is this you ask? The answer is simple... These big lumbering behemoths are not only easy to hit and difficult to operate, but they are using the same equipment equivalent to a single-manned fighter craft. Mass isnt an issue... My aforementioned 2.5K shield is the best Ive ever found.... and I can put it on the xwing as easily as the nova courier. The solution is either two ways... we need special high mass, high effectiveness equipment that would give significant performance hikes to those larger craft... OR.. even better... double up on many of the existing components in a logical way. There should be TWO shields on these large craft (primary and secondary), TWO layers of armor plating on each end, the top and bottom turrets should each have TWO cannons mounted (ever notice that the turrets on the falcon, as demonstrated in ANH, each fired FOUR bolts (quad blasters), not two), as well as a capacitor for each. The pilot should have at least one operable forward mounted cannon as well. People are working toward master to fly these ships and kick butt.... not to spend a lot of money and keep flying the tier 3 ship. Increase their performance and fix the bugs (see below) and you'll see many a happy master pilot (and more eager novices once they sit in the gun seat of one of them)

#5- FIX MULTIPLAYER SHIP ALARM BUG

#6- CONTENT needs to be added... and fast. I know that content is kind of like the will-of-the-wisps of this game (something we are all seeking but can never seem to catch), but considering that one can master the pilot profession in very short time, pvp is broken, and the master level ships leave much to be desired, many people are becoming bored with the space race as quickly as they reach the top. As it stands... the only productive things left for a master pilot to do is #1- assist other aspiring pilots with thier missions or #2- hunt low level mobs with the quest of seeking the "uber" ship loot. The community needs space missions, missions incorporating space and ground, new badges, ATTAINABLE special loot (read: Black Sun Helm) and other incentives to keep playing.

#7 PERFORMANCE -Now, I don't want to come off all sour with my post (can anyone tell Ive finally hit that disgusted with SoE breaking point?), JTL is an absolutely beautiful looking game. The visuals are not only impressive, but they add to the immersion and star wars feel more then many of the distorted things on the ground ever could. My only beef with this tho... is even with all the performance settings way down, I can't play for 30 seconds without some sort of in-flight lag. Now here's where some self righteous know it all is going to step in with their sage advice on how I'M the one doing something wrong or how my hardware is inadequate, but let me just say that this computer is less then 8 months old and with all the bells and whistles geared toward gaming performance, and I play on high-speed cable. My good friend is also a game programmer (read proffessional; not aspiring), who after a thorough check of my system and observing me play the game came to the conclusion that it's not something on my end, theres some serious performance flaws with JTL (and SWG in general as we all know). This is a problem with a "twitch based " system... and many of you know the snags Im speaking of. It's impossible to make an online game that performs flawlessly, but not impossible to improve upon what is here. For starters, lets get rid of the hokey ship-to-ship taunts... that ALWAYS cause a moment of lag.... it was novel the first couple times I saw it, but I think I'd rather keep an opponent in my sights rather then hear about how lucky my last shot was. And might I add that theselame comic book one liners being passed back and forth from pilots fighting life and death battles have no place in the SW universe, and actually deter from immersion. Can anyone think of a time that such a thing happened in any star wars film? I'm pretty certain Vader's line's of "the force is strong with this one" and the ever popular "I have you now" were something he said to himself... and even if he DID send it on a comm channel to Luke, thats OK cause Vader gets special privelages like that.

Well, sorry I surpassed the one idea limit... I have more but those are the major ones. The truth is, I realize that the devs dont care what we say so Im sure the only eyes that will see this will be people eager to flames one's opinions..... but I just wanted to vent. I love this game so much, and it's a shame that with a few well thought out tweaks (that are never going to happen) we could have such a marvelous game here. Instead I've finally come to the realization that playing this game is like being in a bad, abusive relationship....No matter how much you love it and try to be faithful, it's going to continually abuse you until you move on.

High-end content for master pilots who want to do more than PvP and blow up the ISD (or Rebel station for Imps).

For PvP in space to be truly viable and fun there needs to be at least a 50%-75% decrease in PvP damage in space due to the damage capacity of reverse engineered guns and the limited shielding and armor available. A master pilot vs master pilot battle should last at least as long as fighting a tier 5 ship if not longer, currently its more like fighting tier 1 ships and not fun.

I believe a full PvP system where there are no limits to PvP (meaning Imperials can shoot Imperials or vice-verca/Imperials can shoot Freelancers or vice-verca) would really improve the game.

- I support the CU and am grateful that we have a game that continues to evolve rather than stagnate. Join the positive voices!

Make mission waypoints visible to all group members.

In JTL only the group leader is given the waypoint to the mission objective (most of the time this being the person whos mission it is). Why not let all members of the group see the waypoint like in the ground game?

This can be extremely frustrating sometimes. As a group member I cant see how far out the mission is (is it 1000 or 12000 away?) so I have a hard time preparing droid/ability commands. Then once engaged with a hostile force if my ship is destroyed, I am sent to the nearest Space Station for repairs. Now I have no clue as to where my companions are. Group chat helps, but who has time to give location coordinates while under fire? So I flounder around searching for them waiting get some clue as to where they are. Same goes if I get separated from them in the heat of battle. Expanding the radar helps, but why makethis so difficult?

If "group waypoints" work in the ground game, why not in space?

My issue #1: There is still no free-for-all PvP zone like Kessel was before changing it to PvE.
Solution: Finally move the Master Pilot mission spawn to a different PvE space sector and make Kessel as 'starwarsy' as it was.

Top issues for me:

1. Multiplayer ships... When the Plasma Leak Alarm comes on, it never shuts off. I have to re-deed my ship or wait for server shutdown. I would also like to see one weapon for the MPS that we can use so we dont have to have a crew. I would like to be able to explore space in my Nova... just worried I am going to run into trouble and have no way to defend myself. Then again, Han didnt have anyway to defend himself in the asteroid fields.

2. PVP - It takes forever for me to take down a teir 5 npc fighter and vice versa... Yet it takes 2-3 shots from a player and I am dead. Need to make things more even.

3. Any Teir TIE Agressors... make them more believable... they never miss and it is annoying. I know that Teir 5 is supposed to be hard, but not impossible. I can handle 4-5 TIE's at one time, just not the Aggressors.

You think the devs could reenable free for all PvP in Kessel, and make repairs free like in Deep Space? I'd be all for that. Then potential masters don't have to worry about decay when trying to complete their last mission.

Instead of having a fixed gun for the MP ships, how about the ability to pay for AI gunners based on tier?
Choice on the launch or group menu to pay for a tier 2-4 gunner, 5-10k per tier? This allows Ywing and agressor pilots to also have some kind of gunner without worrying about finding someone to ride (especially for the low tier Y-wings). The gunners are not going to be as good as a person, but it's some kind of protection and not free.

Something I haven't seen mentioned...

It appears when slowing down from a "boost", the controls on the YT get reversed as in pulling on the stick makes you go down instead of up. Not a game breaker.

...and it would be neat if your droid could run around a MP ship and help repair, like R2 did in the movies...

...and please consider forward facing guns on the MP ships...
