I had thought about this too late to actually use it. But, I did mark down the name of each pilot and the ship they were flying so I could do it manually (Now Leaph knows why I had that information

This is one of the main reasons I'm staying Imperial instead of switching to help filming of stuff.We just need to remind the gunners not to shoot the TIE following real close despite their rebel scum training . They couldn't hurt me but did make me start spamming the CTSS button. I think the Hurricane hit the Imp side pretty bad. Now that things are settling down for some, we may see more people in this week's event.
Like Leaph, I am a transfer to Starsider. I have said it before and I'll say it again: It was the luckiest/smartest thing I did in this game in a long while. It has renewed my interest in the game and I have never in almost a month regretted the decision. I encourage everyone that likes space to do what I did and create an Alt on Starsider and check things out. It's a fun place. Yes, it has it's jerks as well (I'm sure I'll find one eventually). But, there are a LOT of people who really treat this as a game and play it accordingly.

I thought I saw you a few nights ago in Theed. But, then I figured that was just the person who had 'stolen' your name. Even if they seemed to have a LOT of Ace badges.
Did you decide which side you're flying with? Or, is that still a surprise. And, remember, there is a mass PvP Saturday at 7 pm. But, both sides gather early for a briefing.
err anyway, a long time ago i may have created a SS alt, then later deleted him for some reason. I acutally tranfered to SS the friday night before labor day weekend.

As for who im flying with, well heres how i arrived at my decision:
a.) put out feelers IM's to people who i thought represented both sides. Looked at the responses for continutity, motivation, frankness, and organization.
b.) Evaluated my playing hours with those around me that i knew of. and any impact i would make on either side given my playing hours. (My concusion is that i woudlnt have much of any impact no matter were i went because i play at off hours, and dont play alot on the weekends.)
c.) What pilot profession i wanted to stick with, if i had to choose just one.
I hammered my head with this for about 3 days before finally giving up, said "screw it" and went rebel. Even joined a rebel PA last night infact.
Now having said ALL that, if it turns out the Empire REALLY REALLY REALLY needs me, then i might be pursuaded to go back to being imperial, but i dont think they id make much of a difference neither here nor there, so it may be a hard sell to make.
Honestly, the biggest impact i think i make on SS is by virtue of who i join. People who i dont even know have heard of me for some reason, (on bria, and valcyn, and even SS) and i cant say im excited about it. I never wanted a reputation, but i know its there. Anyway i dont think my presence in either faction will make much of any difference in the balance of power, but i do i think it may effect morale on either faction. So im trying to be low key, and havent said anything about any of this until the latter end of this thread.
