That's why I'm hoping that the new space POB is something mass produced. YT, Lambda, whatever.
It is the players who make the starships in the game unique. Not the quests to obtain them. Not the devs. And that's how it should remain.
True true. With the all of the otehr ships in the game it could be argued that there are bluprints or scematics for them. Or in fact a surplus of them on mothballs tucked away in a drydock. Although Vader does tell you it's his personal fighter, you could stretch and say that he just gave you an old left over....after all...the old owners of them won't be needing them anymore.
However, as you said, the Ebon is a one of a kind ship. It's make and model were unknown while it was in it's prime due to it's mods.
There are so many great craft to chose from it's almost silly to give us one of a kind ships.
Did either of you guys notice that all of the JSFs flying around are Darth Vader's personal ship? All I can say is that Anakin must have been a sucky pilot if he needed that many spares.

Ebon Hawk sounds a simular possible ship but then is it HK-47 you need to help or destroy to get the schematic.

Wouldn't it be much nicer to get the Lamda then a 30 year old relic or scehmatic for said relic?
Nov 1st will be a happy day for me. Not becasue of the new expansion, or the EP3 DVD...but because it will mean an end to the Clone Wars tie ins and HOPEFULLY the begining of SWG moving forward in the timeline. However, with the introduction of an HK droid, it could mean we will be getting even more old content. But old content is better than no content.
I am begining to get the feeling that SOE is stalling on the release of ESB content. But why? Do they not have the rights to it yet? ESB was about 3 years after ANH so are they waiting for SWG to turn 3?
The main reason I'm looking forward to ESB content is becacuse it could mean the introduction of the T-47. Which could also lead to the T-16. Which could also lead to full blown atmospheric flight

The YT-1930 looks neat, but if you pilot from the cockpit (as opposed to chasecam), you've got huge blind spots with the cockpit in the center of those forks. Same with the YT-2000.

The YT-1930 looks neat, but if you pilot from the cockpit (as opposed to chasecam), you've got huge blind spots with the cockpit in the center of those forks. Same with the YT-2000.
Unless of course you turn the cockpit frame off
If it were a real ship you'd fly mostly by instruments anyway.

The Ebon Hawk however would make a wicked rare loot ship, that's one of my favorite things from KOTOR.

Thats the Point. any YT-Series ship would be Privateer Ace Requirement. As that Dev Stated, there is ONE new ship.. it MUST be one that can be flown by ALL Pilot Classes.
