They're certainly all over the place with the timeline with this expansion..
According to the Star Wars Databank:
A modified freighter, the Outrider was just one of several vessels seen flying over the port city of Mos Eisley that fateful day Luke Skywalker left Tatooine.
This is the new version of EP4 of course, it is not in the original.
The YT-2400 fits just fine in the timeline. I'll need a better reason than the YT-2400 to drop $30 on this expansion though.
Yes, the YT-2400 is from the game's real time period, but the other things are from the near and distant past. That's why I said it is all over the timeline.
So let me get this straight, after The Emperor got Vaders body from Mustafar, the planet was wiped from the face of the galaxy? Therefore making it out of the timeline right?
Now, I do admit, HK-47 seems a little farfetched, but the planet is still there. And at least they got the fact that Obi-Wan is dead right.
BTW, for those not familar with the YT-2400, here are some links:

i was really hoping for spaceball one as the new POB =x
I was actually thinking of making a whole new game based on that idea. ;-)
A few important questions:
Is it crafted or a quest?
Will it totally out-class the rest of POB ships?
Does the certification cross all factions?
[I would've prefered the YT-2000, as well. But I'm a sucker for these Corellian Transports.]

I just hope that they don't pull a stunt on us like they did with the JSF and make it one faction only.
ANY pilot with the Tier 4 ships box of their pilot profession can fly the Eta-2 Actis Interceptor if they've done the quest(and you only have to go Imperial a very short time to do the quest).

THAT is true, but it requried me, as a rebel, to not only drop faction, but to drop my pilot mastery.
Which sucked, and never should have had to happen.
The "Jedi Starfighter" was one of the most hyped and advertised features of ROTW. Had it been said up front that it was imperial ONLY (unless you jumped thru major hoops), I wonder how many fewer pre-orders there would have been? I see no reason why they couldn't have made BOTH the ARC-170 and JSF available to EITHER imperial or rebel. After all, NEITHER were factionally rebel OR imperial in EP3, the Empire and Rebellion didn't exist, they were REPUBLIC ships!
All I can say is this mistake had better not be repeated in TOOW with the YT-2400.
I believe that you should be able to master TWO pilot trees. Neutral and one of the factional ones.
That'll teach you to be a dirty Rebel Pilot! Freelance is the BEST! Join the Hutts in Smuggler's Alliance, you'll never have to worry about GCW factions for pilot again.
